There are lots of herring, skippy (trevally), some small mulloway (to 20 lbs), tailor to 5 lbs and lots of blowies, which are a no-no fish as they are poisonous. They can be caught in the far north of Western Australia, all around the Top End and down through tropical, coastal Qld. Cheers, Bobj. They are estuary fish and can live just as well in the sea, or in freshwater. As a matter of fact, the barramundi in that picture was caught in a small dam near Mackay, Qld, where I live, It was 110 cms (43 inches) about 50 lbs Cheers, Bobj.
