Ned Kelly
Hi people, i was wondering if it would be possible to have your dog shipped if it was in pup. Thanks in advance Ned
Guest
I doubt it. Contact Bob at Pet Air and see what he says.
Guest
I checked the AQIS website. Having read that, I'd be very careful about breeding if you were planning on emigrating. The dog would also have to spend 30 days in quarantine and tbh, for a pregnant bitch, this probably isn't the ideal situation to be in pup in. Also then you'd have to find a rental that would house you, be able to have those pups in the house and so on. I read your earlier posts and you say you are hoping to move in about 6 months or so now, so I'd say be kind to the dog and don't try to get her mated before you move. AQIS website says Pregnancy: Cats and dogs must not be more than three (3) weeks pregnant nor be suckling young at the time of export. http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/cat-dogs/cat2
