NowPerth Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 There are times when the sticker can be helpful (mainly when travelling through smaller more remote airports), so it may be worth getting the sticker put in at some point - no rush though. Ours was all electronic. We didn't bother getting visa stickers put in the passports. All was fine until we tried to get our WA driver's licences. In theory, they could have used the electronic system. But they insisted that everyone had to have the sticker!!!! Aaarggg! Jumped through hoops to get stickers put in, and got driver's licences. 2 months later, we went to get my son's learner's permit. They had changed over to the electronic visa system, Hooray. But the connection was down, and they had no backup plan. And they wouldn't recognise the visa sticker, because they were only allowed to use the electronic system. Aaarggg!!
