I would like to know some informations about neurosurgery in australia.Do i have to pay it in case i am permanent resident on 175 visa?

Yes I can.I have temporal cortical dysplasia on the cortex.It's a kind of little tissue mass, which provocate me seazures.But they are well controlled by using meds.So I could be a candidat for neurosurgery for temporal resection.I'm courious about if i'm going to pay this surgery in Australia or is better to do it gratis in Germany (the health innsurance can pay it all). We really wish to move DU asap.

If you are on a PR visa then no you wouldn't need to pay for treatment, but if it's none urgent you may have a long wait. Also it would depend on where in Australia you were heading, I know I have just been referred to a neurologist yesterday and I may have to travel to see him (the hospital have said they would cover my travel expenses if this was the case).

You would have to pay for your meds whilst waiting for the operation.
