nursealli
Hi all, Just a query as in a quandry..... Have started gathering the docs to register with NZ Nursing council (IELTS complete; police checks done; transcript from NMC) but am going to Australia later in the year for a good look around as I have, for ages, been in two minds about which country to go for! If I do get NZ reg and then I decide on going to Oz instead, can I transfer it across? OR which is the easiest to get initially to then transfer under trans-tasman or whatever it is?? I've been reading that when you get Oz reg you have to present in person at an office to complete the process; this is something I could do on my visit I guess? Does that make sense? Any advice welcomed!

Maruska
Hi, i saw on the AHPRA website that these 2 countries have sort of an agreement called Trans-tasman mutual recognition. It appears that you still need to do some paperwork ( fee payment maybe:wink:), but it should be pretty easy . Check on the AHPRA web.
