Addison05
Sat IELTS for 7th time on Saturday, In all I think I was ok but had a little stumble in the interview. I think it was nerves etc. It was the part when you are given a senario to speak for one to two minutes about a subject. I spoke about something covering the points in the examiner's book as I have every other time and she wanted more information from me, so I had a mental block. When I had finished she said I was fine but could have expanded on with a little more information, but the information she said I could have expanded with did not seem obvious to me. Anyone else been in this situation? Thanks
Guest
Its hard to talk about a subject you probably dont have an interest in but youll ramble on for ages about something you do like. They must have a number of key words they look for that are covered in your conversation. My advice is to get someone to give you topics to talk about and just practise, although you should be fine after 7 attempts, thats sheer willpower that is!
