ginger Posted May 9, 2012 Share Posted May 9, 2012 Hi all just a quick one. I have yet to file for a tax return in Oz so don't know the ins and outs. I think at present I can clame for school uniforms etc....but after this year that will be no more? On a 457 visa I don't get part A child benefit so don't thick I am eligible for the 'new' child allowance scheme. If this is true then can I still clame for uniforms etc.. the old way? The reason I ask is that I believe the prices of uniforms are inflated because you can claim if I can't then I feel seriously ripped off by this change in policy.
