It asks for a description of duties - have you literally been copying this info from your CV's or providing a brief summary. Please help..... Guest Kristie M Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Hi there You need to ensure that the reference details the role and responsibility in a reasonable level of detail. It doesnt need to be pages long, but it does need to be more than just a generic job description of few words. Try to ensure that your referree demonstrates how your role and responsibilities fit into their specific business, as well as any unique skills that you were able to utilise. You also need to ensure it is written on their company letterhead, that it states the hours per week, dates you were employed, and clearly identifies the referrer and how to contact them.
