jewels&john Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 Hi all, Wonder if anyone can help me. My hubby has been offered a job in The Barossa Valley. Does anybody know what its like to live there, ie the location, schools, lifestlye options. I feel it looks quite a relaxed lifestyle, or will it be boring, as we have an 9 year old son to occupy. Diane Posted April 19, 2012 Share Posted April 19, 2012 Barossa is lovely, and you're only about 40 minutes - or an hour tops - from the centre of Adelaide there. I don't think you or your son would be bored. I know of one family that live in Kersbrook which is also out in the hills, about the same distance out: she has four sons and never a moment to herself with taking them to sports and activities and stuff! If you haven't already done so, probably worthwhile joining the sister site http://www.pomsinadelaide.com and putting your post up on there: for some reason, not many people living in South Australia post on this site as on there and you'll probably get a lot more responses to this question there.
