I had no idea there was a problem with this as in the past my 651 came through instantly. So...I booked my flights first for 28th Feb then applied for visa ..now know that's the wrong way round but it's what I have always done. I fly Monday so I am at the point of re-booking....but for when??!!Emirates allow no cost flight changes....just the extra fare price.....which is now £500 more expensive ....I imagine due to high demand. What I'm finding difficult is the emotional side of this as I haven't seen my daughter and grandchildren for nearly three years and it just all feels so near but yet so far. Having waited so long that extra 2 weeks or so seems forever. ,I'm finding it hard to be excited as I don't know if I can go yet and it's time to get PCR and form fill!! However, it will happen and what a trip it will be....worth waiting for x
