I finally received the invitation for the interview and test for the 27th of May ,after 13 months in Victoria. At the time I was was overseas, and made arrangements to return on the 24th to attend the interview on the 27th. On the 23rd of May, I received an email stating that since I am overseas my interview/test is cancelled , and to contact the department for a fresh appointment. I am back in Australia, and trying to contact the department with no luck. Can anyone please suggest me the best way to inform DHA Victoria of my return. I called 131880 and they wanted me to upload a letter to my immi account. Is there an e mail address or contact no to get in touch directly? Thank you, Mano

I have an English translation of my birth certificate done by a sworn translator from my birth country, while I have applied from Australia. Will the Department of Home Affairs accept this? I have applied from Victoria in March 2021, and need to travel overseas for a couple of months. Does anyone know whether I am legally allowed to travel while awaiting an outcome of the application?
