Hi Scotjules Thank you so much for your response. This is really helpful. Our situation is where we need to travel immediately and the only thing we are awaiting is the processing of the 870 visa. Fingers crossed they complete the processing soon.

Hi , May I please ask if anyone has been recently asked to re-submit their docs for 870 parent visa and re-do medicals. If yes, can you please help us understand how long it took after that for the visa to be granted. Our original submission was made in Feb 2020 and only in Nov 2021 we were asked for to re-submit docs again as some of it were no longer valid. We have completed all the submissions and right now only waiting for invoice for the 2ndVAC, and we were not sure of what to expect next. Any insights will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Scotjules, We have recently been asked to re-submit some of the docs and re-do the medical test as our initial submission for 870 parent visa was made in Feb 2020. May we ask if you could help us understand how long it has taken after your application was picked up recently , for the 2nd VAC/payment and was your visa granted immediately after. For us time is critical, but we are not able to get an understanding on what to expect after all docs been submitted.
