it's so so expensive 😔 economy is limited and it's really hard to get. Thank you for replying back.

Yeah tickets are expensive and one reason for that being airlines are only issuing business class tickets. I read somewhere, that only 10-20 person per flight are being allowed into most cities at the moment. Hence you can understand the costs. Economy class tickets are highly unlikely to be allowed, and even if you manage to book, expect them to be cancelled at some point before flights

Hi everyone is anyone flighing from Germany to Brisbane? or knows which airline is best to fly to Brisbane?

If you can, you should try to book Singaporeair, they are comparatively less expensive than many others (Qatar, Emirates, etc.) plus they are much quicker in providing any help and support required for passenger queries.

But do note, with current extra reductions in incoming passenger arrival caps, it will be almost impossible to get Economy class seats, and only business class tickets are being made available to travelers.

    Thanks a million Aamehz

could you please let us know if you called or contacted the immigration? Did you do anything for them to expedite your grant?
I have been waiting for 16months now for my partner’s visa

I just frontloaded most of the documents and provided as much information as possible. Apart from that i kept uploading additional documents 3-4 months apart (updated bank account statements, new photographs, lease contract, or any info that can help support that relationship is continuing and genuine). I did not contact anyone, i did not even get any call/mail from Immigration (apart from RFI).

  4. I am so happy and excited to share this news with everyone. 🙂

Alhamdulillah, my 309 was approved today, and I got the grant notification just a while ago.

Below is my timeline and details.

    DoL: 25th September 2020

    RFI: 28th Feb 2021

    RFI replied: 08th April 2021

Visa Grant Date: 08 July 2021

    Processing office: Amman, Jordan

The whole process took almost 10 months, but really happy that the wait is finally over for stage 1.

I wish good luck to everyone who is waiting for their visas, and pray you all get your grant notifications soon as well.

    Thanks for your reply.

I applied for PMV300 on 25 August 2019 and got married on 8 October 2020 then changed the visa to 309 on the 25 of December 2020. I think they will not start the count again for the 309 visa change. Visa application from Egypt

I agree with @Marisawright you need to get the exemption for your visa to be processed.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I do intend to apply for exemption, but while reading the instructions it mentioned, that i need to apply for exemption atleast 2 weeks but no more than 2 months before your intended date of travel. I am slightly confused with this sentence. I cannot plan travel unless i have visa - since i will have to wrap up everything here in UAE, which i intended to do once i receive visa.

Have you applied for the exemption yet? If yes, was your request approved?

If you applied for a visitor visa without applying for a travel exemption, it will just sit in the system and never be approved.

You can try applying for the travel exemption now, and you must quote the reference number from your visa application.

Thanks for the helpful information. I will apply for an exemption soon, and hopefully will get my visa.

I have another query though, is it correct that you need compelling/compassionate reason to apply for an exemption?

I am waiting for a visitor visa for my wife for >7 months. Currently, we are in our 8th month, which is according to the global processing timeframe is the maximum. Does anyone have any idea how can I push them to finalize the visa? We are waiting for a 309 visa as well (Amman office). Thanks all for your support

Even i have similar situation to you... I had applied for my visitor visa in March 2020 (thats more than a year now).. and its still showing processing. I had read somewhere that you need to contact home affairs as well as some other organisation - to apply for exemption. They issue the visitor only if the reaons are compelling and compassionate. I am sorry, i cant find the link at the moment (will share it once i find it). I didnt apply for the exemption yet, because i was busy with my work in UAE.

When did you apply for 309? I applied in September 2020 from UAE, but my application is being processed in Amman.

Anyone receive grant from Amman office?

I havent seen any recent grants from Amman apart from Devops - who received their grant in May.

I had received RFI on 28th Feb2021, to which i replied with all documents on 8th April. But they haven't come back since then.

Saw a recent article for Amman's processing times, and they ranged from 19 months to 28 months. I just hope they improve on their processing times, and we dont have to wait long.

    Hi guys,

I have a problem to attach documents for my partner's 820 visa. I lodged application yesterday and paid the visa fee successfully. However, after that, the website shows "Application details could not be retrieved at this time. Please try again later." We can't attach any supporting documents on it. Also, i have not received any confirmation email from the department about our application, neither for the bridging visa.

I'm not sure if this is a technical issue of the website or problem for our application. Could you please advise if you have met similar condition now or before?

    Thank you very much!

Thats strangely wierd, if the application fee was deducted from your account - your application should be reflected on the system. I think it can be system error. I have not come across anybody else who had this siutation before. Maybe you can try refreshing/resigning into your account to check if it reflects back.

If the application still does not show up in your account, its best to write to home affairs department, with your fee receipt/account statement showing deduction, and ask them about your future course.

    Yes, It's me.
I had received my last 2 RFI's from Amman office and after my second RFI, I have received a grant letter from Amman office at 19 May, 2021 after 23 months.

Please, if you dont mind me asking, can you share your timelines? DOL, date of 1st and 2nd RFI, etc? I would really appreciate if you can share the details. Hopefully, it will give us an idea how long do the Amman office usually take to respond after RFIs.

Did you receive any RFI from Amman office?

I had received RFI on 28th February 2021 from Amman office. Submitted all documents by 8th April 2021. No response/reply yet from them since RFI. This was my first RFI (and hopefully last).

Brief about me - Applied for 309 from UAE in September 2020. Application being processed in Amman (since the RFI email from CO was from Amman). All documents frontloaded (except medicals and PCC) - which we submitted between early Feb to April.

I have seen there are atleast 2 other applicants whose file is being processed in Amman. So we are all in the same boat. Recently noticed (on another site) that Amman office recently granted one 309 for a pakistani applicant, and the processing time was 23 months (see attached screenshot). I just hope it does not take this long for our applications.
