Just an update, I called DHA and the officer instructed me to e-mail ceremony.act@homeaffairs.com she unlinked my application from another friend’s application and I’m finally scheduled for the August 10 ceremony

Hi everyone, sorry for the long shot but I have a question. My two friends(A&B) and I passed the test and got approved on the same week last February. Earlier this week, friend A received her ceremony invitation for July while friend B and I are still waiting. We made sure that we unlinked each other’s applications. A colleague of mine(Friend C) applied for citizenship last March, I think he linked me and friend B to his application. But before his test on April, I told him to ask the officer to unlink our application from his. He then confirmed that he did tell the officer. Unfortunately failed the test and got re-scheduled for today 17/06. I’m not 100% convinced that we were actually unlinked thus resulting for Friend A and I not getting the invite yet. Sorry but are we just being impatient or is the delay the result of this linking applications? Is there anything I can do to have this fixed? Thank you everyone

Yeah just kinda excited but yeah no point in rushing actually. I just moved to a new suburb 5mins from my former address, still here in ACT. Two other friends took the test and got approved on the same day as mine and they still haven’t got any mail so I’m assuming there’s just a backlog. My bad, should’ve told the officer about it.

Hi everyone, I passed my citizenship test and got approved on the same day on 22 Feb 2021. The next day, we moved to a new address and I also notified and updated my details on my immi account. Until now I still haven’t got any invitation for the ceremony. I’m afraid that it was sent to my old address or am I just feeling rushed about it? As I’ve seen from the above posts, they also send a message to the immi account. Checked mine and there’s none. I guess I’m just being too excited about my citizenship ceremony?(who wouldn’t? lol) Thanks in advance!

I brought all documents but gentleman at the office only asked for my driver’s license.
