Thanks for this, iv looked at the jobs on online sites like the one you linked to above but i just wasn't sure it was a 'simple' (if you want to call it that) as looking for these types of jobs or if you had to apply in a specific place for these jobs as they are 'in demand' but from what youve said i assume you would apply for any job you can find (once visa granted)

Hi All, My job - customer service manager - allows for the Skilled regional visa (state or territory nominated) and temp skill shortage - short term. How do you find jobs in these specific areas needed?, is there a site I need to be looking at or do contact businesses to see if fall into a region where im needed? and same with skill shortage visa - does this mean i can apply for any customer service manager? Many thanks for your help

Thanks everyone for your comments, I'm a customer service manager and my partner is a plumber so nothing particularly 'specialised' that they couldn't find in Australia themselves. interesting though that banking seems to a sector that 'moves around alot' I have previously been in Australia for two years on a working holiday via 7 years ago and would love to go back but ideally just for a couple of years as i dont think i could deal with the permanent move .. looks like a skilled visa is the most likely way... I was just being hopeful that moving via work was a common thing!!

Does anyone work for any UK companies that have offered you or you've applied to work in their Australian offices etc. This would be my ideal plan but I'm sure it doesn't happen regularly! It just feels like it would be the perfect opportunity to trial it out with knowing in the back of your head you will be returning, or not if you apply for other visa if you love it there! I know will some will say nothing in permanent and can always return to England but just thought id ask incase anyone had done this! Thank you!!

Hello, Sorry I'm unable to answer your question but I was just wondering if your visa was one you decided to go for and looked for a temp job over there or if your current workplace in the UK offered you a position. I would love to find a company in UK which also offered temp job transfer to Australia! Thank you!
