Does anyone know how long it takes to update the Immi account after the Citizenship Ceremony in Person? It has been already couple of days and the status still shows "Approved".

I don't think Brisbane is keen to support virtual ceremony. I'm not sure if this is a a matter of being understaffed or just principles. I received my invitation in the middle of last week via Post. It's to ceremony organised by Wynnum Manly Ward (I'm living in Manly West).

Update: the other day I received an invitation by post. It was from BCC: Wynnum Manly Ward.

I've got approval in January. Still waiting for the ceremony.

BCC Upcoming Ceremonies. Brisbane City Council conducts citizenship ceremonies throughout the year. The Department of Home Affairs allocate new citizens to a ceremony and then invitations are distributed by Brisbane City Council, via mail and email. Upcoming ceremonies A citizenship ceremony will be held on: Wednesday 14 July 2021 Wednesday 4 August 2021 Monday 30 August 2021 Monday 11 October 2021 Monday 8 November 2021 Monday 29 November 2021. The events will operate under the venue's Queensland Health approved COVID Safe Plan. Approximately 600 candidates attend each citizenship ceremony. Yes, you can. There is a notice to say that the first part is for testing purposes and the second one is only informative
