We are married since Feb 2020, applied 309 on 27th May, 2020 for my wife from Pakistan. Biometrics and medicals submitted on 4th Nov, 2020. Never heard anything from homeaffairs

My misses application processing time has been updated to 18-21 months aswell

A friend of mine hasn't had any notification of the case officer assigning. Similar is the case with my wife's application. I can't see any notification. We have had the biometrics and medical both done on 4th November 2020. There has not been any update.

Congrats @Jesop @Mitho Australian Visa Application Centers have resumed limited operations since 2nd Nov, 2020 in Pakistan. You can book your appointment here. https://www.vfsglobal.com/australia/pakistan/schedule_an_appointment.html I got my misses's booked and she had the biometrics done on 4th Nov, 2020. Good luck

@Marium He flew from London via Doha and subsequently to Adelaide. He booked the tickets online. Try http://expressflights.com.au/ they have always been able to find an option for me

@Aussie G Congratulations Try Qatar airways a friend of mine was able to get the booking. You may have to choose Adelaide instead of Melbourne due to flight restrictions.

Hi Folks, I got married in February and applied for spouse visa in May,2020. I am based in Aus and my misses is in Pak. My misses got the bio metrics collection letter soon after. However, due to the current scenarios home affairs has instructed to shut the bio metrics collection temporarily. I do not see any way to have the finger prints collected anywhere in Pak. not sure until when. I have had a chat with immigration over the phone but does not look they are of any help. I was wondering if someone else in the same situation and any suggestions/recommendations to speed up the process? Thanks in advance!
