I booked November 15 for Melbourne, So I rebooked Turkish Airlines to Sydney on 21st of November instead just to be safe than sorry haha

I did some research and called up DHS, they said its best to fly to Sydney and do quarantine there for 2 weeks - once you receive a clearance certificate, you will able to fly to Melbourne. its a very expensive option tho

Yeah I did book tickets to melb but it got canceled... I have no choice to find tickets for either Sydney/Adelaide so my partner can do her quarantine there and come melb after

Morning All My partners visa got granted on 29th of September alhumdurallah (22 months) I booked tickets to Melbourne in November (there's a chance the restrictions might ease by 24th of oct) my only advice is to pray and always upload good docs and inshallah the dark tunnel will be near to end!

no worries buddy, don't be stressed - if you hear no news its actually a good thing! its just for Afghanistan it takes much longer unless your lucky I had family take up to 6 - 9 months when they applied I know people that waited 3 years that's because of errors, I called up a while back and they said if they don't reject after the 9-10 month they won't decline after unless its fake. so don't stress just pray and everytime your on the phone to your partner, screen shot it and merge it into one PDF and upload every month that shows use are still communicating (that's one question they asked and they were like oh don't worry I see use talk a lot because of the uploads) your welcome champ

my first interview was march (they called my partner) and recent interview was last week Monday (they called me). yeah its a long wait iv been waiting for 23 months so I'm sure you'd hear good news. make sure your uploading docs at least every month!

yeah don't stress they are on it! a lot of people I heard will be getting it this month inshallah we all be one of them!

yeah she is from Afghanistan and processing in Dubai - I had a interview last week Monday btw asking general questions afterwards we got a request for more docs ie - health exam and my police check since they both were expired. they sounded positive inshallah I believe in it will come within a month

I applied 15 Oct 2018, my partner got a phone call interview march 2020 and requested more docs since then haven't heard anything
