Thanks Ausvisitor, appreciate your response and time to reply. I forgot to mention, as my Anzsco code is for an ICT stream, I have not applied on the "Live in Melbourne" website (https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/), there is a note there to say the ICT, nursing, engineering and building occupations need to apply directly on SkillSelect and not on their Website. As there has been no confirmation/acknowledgement on the SkillSelect website besides "submitted" its quite frustrating! As I'm sure it is for quite a number of people.

HI everyone, Thanks for the wealth of information here, really great. I am looking for some guidance please... I have lodged an 190 EOI for Victoria. I have claimed 80+5 (85) points, along with Superior English. My Anzsco code is 263111 (Computer and Network Engineer). The date of effect on my EOI is 12/09/2019. Would anyone have any insight as to how long I should expect to wait for first contact?
