I travelled 12th July to perth, and 27th to melbourne. Currently I think interstate travelling is banned to Victoria. If you stay in perth for 14 days you will be at quarantine and government will cover the cost. After 14 days u will be on ur own and average cost is 100 aud per day.

Hi, I am in Melbourne and I couldn't get direct flight to melbourne and first I was flight to Perth and for two weeks I was in quarantine and it is one week I came to melbourne. I am not sure if they allow interstate flights to melbourne anymore.

No it is not based on medical and police clearance expiry dates. I have one year to enter Australia counting based on my visa granting date.

I applied through migration agent as well and my documents been well organised. Immigration didn't asked me much because my case wasn't complicated but until now it took 25 months and still not approved. I hope you get it in 5 months or at least ASAP. The only thing I wanted to tell you is not get packed for flight and don't give urself stress. Just have passion and be relax and wait for it. My lawyer said it might take 6 to 12 months and when last year my wife came here I didn't renew my apartment contract and unfortunately I became homeless for a month until I founded new place for living. So be ready for it ecen if it goes 3 years.

Mine is kuala lumpur office, yes I had 5 emails from them, first email was auto generated got it on 5th june 2019 exactly a year after lodgement. Second email was 14 june 2019 they asked for more details, pictures, WhatsApp chats, Facebook amd Instagram together pics, my university certificate from kuala lumpur University. Third email was 3rd October they asked for new police clearance from kuala lumpur and again whatsapp chats. 4th email was 26th February 2020 asked for new medical check up and our daughter australian birth certificate, and I submitted 28 February 2020. Fifth email was auto generated first june and said your application is in progress.

Hi, maybe they'll contact you March 2021. It's very long process for afghans, my advice is have passion and be ready for 3 years processing. I hope and pray you get your visa ASAP, but u should be ready if it take long time to process. It is 2 and half years I and my wife counting each and every days, my daughter was born 7 months ago in australia but unfortunately still I couldn't see her and have her in my arms.

Hi, I am also from Afghanistan. We lodged our application june 5th 2018 and have a kid she was born in australia, she is 7 months now. Unfortunately nothing yet only few times they asked some documents but still in processing.

Date of lodgement 5th June 2018. First email from them 27 may 2019, second email 14th June 19 asked for more pics and calls and chats screenshots and my university certificate. 3rd email 3rd October 2019 asked for new malaysian police clearance. Fourth and last email 25th Feb I was asked for new medical check up. Done the next day and emailed them by hospital. Since then nothing heard anybody knows approximately how long more it is going to take.

I am not sure, my application is almost 18 months and my case is not complicated, my wife came to visit me 3 times her last visit was on February and she was with me for 3 months. and very soon we are going to have kid. Still the process gone so long.

5th of june 2018 I lodge from kuala lumpur. And my wife is 9 month pregnant right now.

They emailed me on 3rd October and asked for pcc since then no update.

You just need to apply for certificate of good conduct online at minstry of foreign affairs website. But you should have someone at Malaysia to collect on behalf of u. Payment is 20 MYR. They don't email or post you should know someone here to collect it on behalf of you. Write an authorisation letter, the person name and ID number, sign it, and email it to your friend here so can print it. If you don't know anyone you should come to collect it.

Hi everyone , I am new here. I lodged my application 5th june 2018, 6th june 2019 I got an automated email from immigration department. 14 june 2019 I got another email requested for more documents, like my hight school and university certificate, I submitted 11th July. I received another email requested more documents on 3rd October requested new police clearance based on my new passport number as I lost my passport. I submitted on 13 October. My status changed to further assessment, anybody has idea how long more it will take approximately? It is 17 months I am waiting. Place of lodgement malaysia
