1. I would say it was up due to the circumstances he was under at the time, and it was possibly white coat syndrome

I think he said it something like 175/85.  The physician did an extra blood test to check for something else and the results of all the bloods will be around 4 days to come back.  I wonder if he will have to do another medical if his BP is still high after seeing our GP.  Surely he won't,  the physician can just update the circumstances and forward on to Immigration.
Feels like our excitement bubble has well and truly burst!!
2. Hi@Aussiebird , I have hypertension and Type 1 diabetes, mine was fine and Visa was granted in July and I've been living here now for 4 weeks.
I'm pretty sure it won't have any issues for you both [emoji4]

Partner just had his medical in London and now we are really concerned because the physician said his BP was high!  He said his medical may not pass but it will be up to Immigration if they grant his Partner Visa!
He has taken an extra blood test (at a cost) and told my partner that if everything else comes back ok, it shouldn't be a problem, but it's up to Immigration.
His BP is normally spot on but he said he was walking around for a bit then rushed to get to the medical so not to be late, and said it would be higher than normal, but the physician said otherwise!!.
A report will be sent to Immigration of the BP result and he has been told to go to see our GP asap to get it checked and maybe go on medication.
Has anyone had there visa refused because of the medical not passing?? Just for one thing that is simple to treat?
Am absolutely worried sick that his visa will be refused now and concerned that his BP has changed so drastically from being totally normal to high!!
Surely if it remains high then he will be put on medication, millions of people have high BP and take meds, I do!!

3. Hi all, even though I've had mine granted and been living in Australia for 2 weeks now...I still like to see how things are moving along and if certain ones have been processed yet.
It's been a public holiday here today so you may not here much for a few days.
Anyway myself and @roobaby are settling in to our new house really well, dogs and cat are here kids start school next week...
Horses arrived too us yesterday, but unfortunately while in quarantine we lost a main feature Stallion..so as you may guess very upsetting but we have to pick ourselves up and make sure the other 4, ponies are happy and healthy.
Anyway I am fingers and toes crossed for you guys, and any of you moving to the NSW state you will love it ....so good luck and keep the faith xxx

4. @mhcorbwall,I would upload it again, it's best to be Safe than sorry .
I wish you all the best ,and fingers crossed for you all

hey all.
so I have just checked after seeing the messages about documents going missing and my wifes (the sponsor) docs have disappeared. THe RFI we had requested her DOB as they referred to her place of birth which is outside of australia.

I also cant see the latest documents that i uploaded on the 4th August.

Just thinking does anyone know if i should reattach the documents? or does this put you to the back of the RFI queue?
5. @baloosy , yes we have arrived in Sydney today,if I can share any advice from our journey,is don't go to Oz via Manila, bloody awful airport.
But so happy we have nearly finished our journey, staying with my in-laws for 2days then off to our forever home on Wednesday

Steppy,
So so excited for you! had a quick look back through the forum and looks like you are heading to Sydney.  Hoping for a safe flight for your fam, including the pets.  Let the Aussie dream begin!

6. @AK2910 stay positive,I was lucky getting mine in 6 months , and it literally came out of the blue.
It will happen for the rest of you , and really soon! I can feel it

AH88 I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I could be waiting till June 2020 (90% in 20 months).
I feel how you are feeling and it's getting extremely frustrating now. I move next month (tickets booked) but now looking at tourist visa options incase visa isn't granted in time [emoji20] it's so disheartening to see 2019 applications granted and us 2018 lot still waiting. Don't get me wrong I'm excited for everyone but it'd just a very long time to wait.
At this point I am eagerly waiting for thse who submitted RFI evidence in May to get an email as then I feel I will be closer to receiving an email too!

9. I'm the same as you@Ak2910 , we have are one ways booked for September, but if it's not here by then, I will have to come back after a few weeks due to work.
I would be leaving my wife who is my sponsor and kids there, due to not being able to work, so it's easier financially to come back and work.

But all fingers toes and everything else crossed for all of us

I have also got my one way ticket booked for beginning of September! Really hoping visa comes in soon! Almost reaching the 9 month mark since I lodged my visa!
