  1. Hi, can anyone please tell me whether for CPV 143 Parents visa,  it is better to have ONE Assurer for AoS  with total income of $130K p.a.  OR  Two (2) Assurers having total income of $260K p.a. for faster processing of AoS ??   We are thinking to have ONE Assurer for Parents.  Plz give your input as many of Forum participants have good experience.

Hi Greece, The only one I can help you with is Q3. For identity check you must go in person to centerlink for your identity to be verified. While you’re there perhaps you can ask them about submitting the paperwork. Good luck. Shelagh

Thanks for information. I understand that 3 documents are required for Identity check. Can you please tell which 3 documents are required for Identity check?

    @Greece

    1. I used the online application link providedin the page below for police clearance

    https://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/services/criminal-records/national-police-checks

    2. I submitted AoS online via Centrelink. Nothing in person. All done online including submission of required docs in support of the aos application. If you have 2 assurers then each of them need to create their Centrelink aos application via their own Centrelink login and I believe that there's a question asking if this is a joint assurance of support. If yes, fill out the joint assurers detail in that section. So both your assurers must refer to each other, in their own application, as the joint person. Hope this makes sense.

Thank you so much for weblink and information.

Hi Guys.  If anyone can help with a questions please. I will really appreciate it.

So the DATE (the most important detail)

26 April 2016 - Acknowledgement of application received for a Contributory Parent (Migrant) (class CA) Contributory Parent (subclass 143) visa.

Q1. If there was an issue with balance of family. When does the department let me know?

Reason I ask: My Sister left to UK the year before in Mid Sep 2015 and we are 3 siblings.

    Me - OZ Citizen

Sis 1 - OZ Permanent Resident in UK since Late Sep 2015 has done some small trips to OZ since and has a deposit on a house since Jan 2018 (Not sure if she is considered a resident in OZ at 26 Apr 2016???)

Sis 2 - NZ Permanent Resident in NZ

I think they will tell you only after you get a call and during processing your file. Good luck to you.

I suggest you read very carefully exactly what you are required to do and follow it by the letter.  For a start, the police check you will require is from the Federal police, not the state police, and this is clearly specified in the letter and instructions you will have received from Immi. Some times you are given options, eg for paper document submissions or on-line submissions and without going back to recheck  my own  letter I cannot remember exactly what options were given.

This is maybe another example of struggling a bit with the language.  The whole process is so full of possibilities for getting it wrong.  For this reason I would  really advise folks to do their application through an agent if they do not feel fully comfortable with the language, with form filling or computer systems which you will be required to use.  Let the agent do the work for you and let them navigate through the problematic areas.  That is what you pay them for, to do it for you and to get it right.

    Thank you so much Angela

I’m not sure you will hear by end November for a Feb 2016 application. But it may be worthwhile  completing your Form 80 as I understand that takes quite a while to complete.!

If you look at the figures supplied by @Biggsy earlier https://www.pomsinoz.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=24852

There were 486 lodged by end January 2016 and a further 241 by 8 February 2016

Thanks for your quick response. I have expected CO mail by Nov end looking at current speed of appx 400 applicants received emails in 6 days from 31-Oct to 5-Nov. We have already filled Form 80 but I would like to focus on AoS now as It takes 4 to 6 months for most of the applicants. I have few doubts in AoS as listed in my post.  Request viewers to share their experience.

  11. We are expecting mail to submit additional docs by end of Nov19. For AoS, Can anyone please tell us -

    1. We have joint sponsors, my Son and Daughter. Do both are required to submit their Docs thro their own MyGov account separately or both sponsors docs thro' any one MyGov account?

    2. They will get Interview call both separately or only one ?

    3. AoS Application Form SU594 they both are required to fill and send to Centrelink or only One sponsor need to fill application form?  Also, Application Form to send by online MyGov or printed form to hand deliver in Centrelink?

    4. Bank Guarantee can be issued by any one sponsor from CBA?  or BG should be issued by joint account of both sponsors?

    5. Can we submit Bank Guarantee letter scan copy online in MyGov?  or Original BG letter by hand delivery to Centrelink?

All confusing for me................. Plz share your experience............

I want to make a suggestion here to all the people whom have gone through the Centrelink saga as it has to many variations

can every on that is finished with Centrelink please post here what they have done start to finish from application to payment earlier post about setting up bank account to pay it great info  from my own experience I feel it’s a case of them making it up as we go along also if we had everyone’s input it helps so much because one little mistake with Centrelink can cost so much time backtracking with the application

Hi Greece, My son just set up a normal Commbank  account in his name, I transferred the bond amount into this account. You can't set up the bond account without the letter inviting you to do so, as it contains information and reference numbers applicable only to your AOS bond. He closed his account as soon as the bond was set up. it just helps to be able to transfer the money if you already have a Commbank account. Hope this makes sense. He had the telephone interview and was told he would receive the invitation letter through his mygov account in about 6 days and to contact them if it didn't arrive.

@Jellybean, Thanks for bank account set up info. It is clear to me now. In my case, my son has already bank account with Comm Bank.

Hi Greece, I Know you can set up the mygov account on line but don’t know the procedure... both your children need their own account to do the Aos. Both our son and daughter in law had to have an account and both were contacted separately for the interview etc. If you haven’t done so already I would complete the form 80 while you are waiting as this takes a bit of time. Especially if you’ve had a few holidays over the last 10 years or a few jobs since you started to work. Good luck.. Shelagh

Thanks for info. My children will try to set up MyGov account in advance and Form 80 are already filled up for both of us.

the only problem we had was not knowing which file number to insert...... it’s the one with BCC in front of it.

We chose to do it online because you can see any progress and it’s supposed to be faster..... we shall see.

    Bridgie

    Thanks for File Number information.

  18. Hi, Can anyone please tell us whether can we take CRN number and set up MyGov account in advance of CO email to submit CPV 143 documents?? If yes, what is the procedure? Also, my both children are joint sponsors. Do my children both required to set up MyGov account individually or only One sponsor need to set up?
