Hi Friends,
I am bit confused here.
Do we need to submit Overseas / Australian police check during Citizenship application submission or after interview. Even though if I did not spend more than 12 months in overseas in last 4 years. I have seen some you tube videos from People who are sharing their Citizenship application process. Everyone mentioned about PCC check. See below my timeline and advise
Entered in Australia- 6 March 2016 (457 visa)
PR Approve April 2019 (186 ENS)
Citizenship Applied May 2020 - Melbourne
From 2016 - 2020 Feb. (I have been out of Australia(to India) not more than 6 months. Max 45 days per vacation. -

Hi Friend,
I will be eligible for AU Citizenship this month end. I have started filling application online. My Initials expansion is Surname/Last name
Eg: As per Indian documents except Aadhar card my name is J K Rahul
As per passport(Indian) and Australian documents(PR etc) My name is Rahul Jayaraman Kalpana
. My Birth certificate is not in English(Tamil) so i have translated using AU registered translators(From Migration govt website) in English by providing the Scanned copy of my Original DOB Certificate. While providing documents for Citizenship interview. Do i need to submit the Original one in other language and translated one or the Translated one is enough?

I dont have any Problem in my Name. Only my mother name has this spelling issue. Do they check this one as well?

Hi Friend,
I have applied PR via Agent. I showed my AADHAR card(one of my National Identity card which has be complete full name.) but my Overseas DL, Voter ID, DOB. I have that issue.
I have mentioned the same with my Migration Agent during my PR application process. She said that ' She kept a special note in the application so that Migration officer will consider" I cant see a place to keep notes in my Citizenship application.

Hi Friends,
I am planning to launch my Citizen ship application in few days. But I have a problem in my National identity documents.
My pass port name is eg: Narasimma Chandra - Surname Krishna Kumar - Given name
Indian National Identity card/Mark sheet name: NC(Initial/Surname) Krishna Kumar - Given name
Due to space constrains in My National identity card(India) They kept it as NC(Short form of surname) Krishna Kumar. In South India we don't have Concept of Surname. Here we keep Fathers / Mothers First name as Initials. While launching my AU citizenship. Will they consider this as Valid one?

What you have sounds good to me. Sometimes they ask to see power bills etc, rate notices but if you are not a home owner that would be hard.
I googled it and this came up
You will need to provide:- full birth certificate showing parent's details.
- passport or travel document.
- evidence of change of name if needed.
- a passport-sized photograph.
- identity declaration signed by an Australian citizen with the correct authority.
Dec 18, 2019Hi Friend,
Thanks for your kind reply. Recently I translated my Birth Certificate using Australian Migration translation service. But My mom Name has a spelling mistake. Her name is SHANTHI. But it was provided as SANTHI. "H" is missing.
