    Hi @lulumanda

I really hope you'll get your visa soon so you can go home for your grandparents.

Though we haven't waited that long yet, we are also waiting for the outcome of our application before going home as my Dad-in-Law is also not in good condition and would love to spend time with him.

Did your MA try to follow-up with Immigration as it has been 18-months for your application?

Oh my god!after I post this morning,my nomination &visa has been granted just now!!both at the same time!i wanna cry 😂 Thank you Chowder,My MA and I have made complaint to immigration few months ago,but got no news,I hope you and everyone in this forum good luck! hold on!visa will come soon!

    • Congratulations 12
  2. Hi Guys,I have been waiting since March last year and I'm on bridging C now which requires me to stay in Australia until visa granted,it's very sad that my grandparents' health is getting worse and worse but I can't go back to see them,I don't know how long will I wait, but seems like that us direct entry before April 2018 are being processing really slowly,I am afraid that my grandparent may pass away anytime without me by their side.

Anyone on bridging C has similar experience and solution? I have asked my agent if there is any way I can go abroad and they said no way.

    Hi All,

Just wanted to keep you posted on my timeline!

I have received the Golden email this morning 08/07/2019.

It is been such a long journey for me even with a solid application. I have been a silent reader as well and tried to get the best out of everyone's case ! This forum has been very helpful. One day ago, I was in lots of similar cases like some people in the Forum. For those ones, I would like to say, I know it is lots of UP AND DOWN, lots of downtimes and stressful situation as at the end of the day the outcome of the visa will affect your project life, but keep hope, positive on a daily basis, having a long processing time does mean that it will result in a refusal or there is anything wrong in your application but sometimes politics/policy can delay the outcome so be strong it will eventually get through ! it took me 5 months from the nomination approval to the PR. I am wishing you all the best and really try to get the best out of this waiting time !

    Here is my timeline :

    VISA APPLICATION: 08/03/2018

    NOMINATION APPLICATION: 09/03/2018

    NOMINATION APPROVED: 05/03/2019

VISA REQUEST FOR MORE INFO: 05/03/2019 ( AFP, STATUTORY DECLARATION)

VISA REQUEST FOR MORE INFO: 12/04/2019 ( Witness not recognized on the STATUTORY DECLARATION)

    VISA GRANTED ON THE 08/07/2019

congrats!is your 186 TRT OR Direct Entry stream?

    Hi everyone,

Co=decision maker? I made a complaint to immigration for the exceed processing time on my application. After that I received an email from immigration saying that they have allocated a decision maker for my application. Because of my complicated situation, I changed agents. Two weeks ago, the previous agent received an email from immigration reminding if we will explain the ‘bar’. The new agent said that’s not my decision maker, if she was, she should know I have already changed the agents. They won’t be that stupid. But my boss and the previous agent both thought that was my decision maker. But both the two agents wrote to the immigration about this. Almost 3 weeks passed, I haven’t heard anything from immigration, very stressful. Do you guys have any ideas about the processing time? Sincerely thanks for anyone who can give me some suggestions.  I come from 187 forum. Someone on 187 forum said that someone here has the similar situation with me. But I can’t find it anywhere. Could anyone please reply to me about this? Thank you very much!

It is surprising they responded to your complaint by allocated a decision maker for you application, many of us made complaint before but just got reply that we could only wait. How long have you been waiting?  and don't worry, your case will be open soon i think, good luck

    Hello Everybody

I have applied for ENS Sub-class 186 (Direct Entry Pathway), as I have been sponsored by an Australian company for an accountant's post.

The application and nomination were both submitted on 3 March 2018.  Ever since then, my application status only states "Received" and there is no further update.

The current processing time states 13 to 14 months, which is already passed.  I am now getting impatient and worried too.

Is the processing period normal and why no case officer has yet been assigned for my case?  How long do you think I will have to wait further?  Is there anything I should do in the meantime?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

same situation here, seems that we can do nothing but wait

hey guys, I received the email this morning from MA and I have been ask for further information on both nomination and personal visa parts.

I'm not too concerned with the Nomination part, however,  the Immi asked the AFP and  my original country's criminal record at the same time  which I have provided a clearance. They mentioned: 'I note that you have provided a clearance, however please provide an updated clearance to include all name variations and aliases.' And they listed three full names...

I will use 'Waston' as family name and 'Emily' as  given name to explain what they actually need.

AFP:  WASTON, emily / WASTON, Kelly / EMILY WASTON

Original country's police check:  WASTON, emily / WASTON, Kelly / EMILY WASTON.

I guess that, the reason they asked about name 'WASTON Kelly' is due to the photo I have attached, but how am I able to prove it if it is just a nickname????? I'm soooo lost and confused..

I hope my question is not too long to bother everyone, but if anyone has any ideas about this weird request, please let me know as soon as possible.

    thank you.

I think this might be out of date - is it from 2017? A review on these occupations have been carried out a number of times since then havent they?

Yes it's from 2017, but from the cases in this forum, seems like that this list is still applied, especially for restaurant manger etc.

    Hi Guys
    Visa + nomination applied - 11/5/17
    Position- Dental Technician
    No. Of applicants- 4
    Country - India
    CO allocated- 19/10/17
    Asked AFP submitted same day
22/11/17- CO called clinic - spoke to employer confirming my work details

No news after that till 29/4/19

Then I lodged a complaint against my case in Global feedback unit

They didn’t reply to my complaint until 20/5/19

I called global feedback unit on 21/5/19 and put a complaint again against unattended complaint before.
The lady said give us 3 working days and you might hear something from them.

21/5/19 at 6:35pm received email from a CO manager saying sorry for not replying before but they are working on my file and will reply to us asap. Please be patient.

Today- 23/5/19 - CO called clinic again asking for my boss. I answered phone and said he is not available then he asked for myself. I got scared and unknowingly said ......I am at other clinic instead of saying he is talking to me only. He called other clinic again asking for boss. He was not there then he asked for me and receptionist said I am at other clinic.... he got confused... he asked to speak to owner... owner handled the situation well... then he called my boss (2nd owner) he handled situation well again..... while we all worrying about the outcome of mistake I did( between 4:30pm to 5:35pm ) ....My boss called me saying NOMINATION is APPROVED.

From thisemoji1314.png emoji35.pngemoji24.pngemoji22.png🤬emoji33.png🥵 to this emoji1314.pngemoji23.pngemoji8.pngemoji23.pngemoji2.pngemoji1.pngemoji16.png🤣emoji23.pngemoji7.png🥰 in just in few minutes is awesome feeling

    Atleast Silver email is here.

Thanks for all your support during this long wait.

If you guys could help me with last question....Is my stupidity still going to effect my visa as nomination is already approved??? Is there still anything I should be worried about??

Feeling bit light today. My boss is awesome and has always been so supportive. And thanks again to you great people too.

Congrats friend!could you please tell us what did you include in your complaint, did you just say that the waiting time has been too long or did you say some other reasons like, the bridging visa is very convenient or something? Could you please give us some tips, because I have lodge a complaint online and they just replied me with:“

Global visa processing times will be updated monthly, providing you with an indicative timeframe only. Processing times are impacted each month by changes in application volumes, seasonal peaks, complex cases, and incomplete applications.

We have now closed this case. However, we have referred your feedback to the relevant business area. While no further response has been requested, business areas may exercise their discretion and provide additional comment.

🤣No one is following my case since then....

    Hey guys

are you not worried that who will win this election on Saturday could effect our visa process/decision?

I am always worried about this “genuine position”requirement

It look likes a kind of “free will” of the case officer..so he could me manipulate...so I am worried that he could be used against us..

what do do you think ?

I've think about that before, I don't know politics but some agents said that both labor and liberal are going to cut migration whoever wins, who knows. if you are lucky enough, the best time to get pr should be now, cause they are clearing cases faster than before, but for those who isn't so lucky, what we can do is wait patiently and pray.

    Hi All

Been watching for awhile - mainly in the middle of the night when the visa fear hits me! Have to say this forum has made me feel better sometimes, worse others 😂

We finally got our nomination approved today, 6 months to the day it was lodged. Immi Gov is still saying Received as our status for the rest of the application, but fingers crossed it changes in the next short while.

We're going through redundancies in work at the moment, so I've just been on edge so much wondering would the visa ever come through so we were secure, looks like we're finally underway.

FYI - I did get the famous email along with everyone else, not that that seems to actually have meant anything!

maybe the email did mean something, applicants who got these email seems mainly from August 2018 till this year,i guess perhaps immigration has outsourced these  applicants to other team for processing, and seems like that these applicants have been processed faster than ever,so in a way applicants who got these email should be happy😁 just my guess, i haven't got this email and still waiting now

After my complaint to Immi got this reply from GFU

Thank you for your email to the Global Feedback Unit seeking an update on the status of the visa application TRN - XYZ

Your complaint has been forwarded to me for an appropriate response.

I wish to advice you that the application is being assessed by a Decision Maker.

While apologising for the delay in finalising the application, I wish to advise that there are a range of factors that can impact the processing time of an application, including checks with third parties to verify claims made in the application, the time it takes to receive additional information from external agencies and national security requirements etc.

The Department’s published service standards for the processing of ENS applications state that 75 percent of the applications will be processed by 12 months and 90 percent of ENS applications will be processed within 13 months of lodgement. However these times can vary on a case to case basis and the departments website provides reasons why all applications may not be processed within the prescribed time frames at; https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times

As soon as all the checks and verifications of the claims are completed the decision maker will finalise the application and you will be advised of the outcome.

    Thanks & regards

hi could your please share some tips for making compaint? as the immi replied you with that your application is being assessed by a Decision Maker. what did you included in the letter? i lodge a coplaint before but they just ingnore me....thank you!

He is a single applicant as well. I think it would make sense that more time would be required to look at a couples application than a single one. But still, I share your frustration with co-workers applying after you and being granted before you, just no sense or predictable results with this process.

so seems like that single person do has advantage in terms of processing time 🤣  i made complaint last week, but useless. hope they can look into couples asap, good luck to us and everyone in this forum

No, Nomination hasn't been approved yet.

There isn't any complexity to my case, medical is all good, police/character is all good, I have worked in the same role in the same company for over 5 years as per Visa requirements and I have met all TRT eligibility for the 186

Our Company was audited earlier in the year, and our GM got a call from immigration late March to say we have passed the audit and that processing will now continue.

About 1 month ago, my colleague who actually applied later than I did , and applied through virtually identical circumstances, same occupation, even shorter amount of time in Australia than me, same country, got his Visa and Nomination approved simultaniously.

It's incredibly frustrating for that to happen, it felt encouraging when his PR was approved in the first week, but a month later and month 15 since I applied, it really feels like they have just forgotten my visa application.

i can totally feel you,i  am in the exactly same situation, my coworkers applied half year later than me,they all got granted already,  i am the only one left with waiting for more than one year. but i have notice something , all my coworkers got granted faster than me are single,  only i applied in couple, what about your  colleague? maybe they need more time to consider couples?

    @lulumanda | @Dam

Please let us know if this gets you anywhere - i'm sceptical and doubt it'll help (other than maybe help you feel a little better).
    - Especially as they state that no complaints will be looked into (regarding timelines etc) without the wait being at least that of twice the expected estimated time.
Meaning, if you aren't passed twice the expected wait, a complaint will do nothing and fall of deaf ears.

    Hoping i'm wrong.

I got their reply today, but seems like that they don‘t accept email except the one used in nomination,I will call my MA to make this complaint again, but maybe you are right, as the email said "While no further response has been requested, business areas may exercise their discretion and provide additional comment."

    Below is their reply:

As the email address you have used in this case is not authorised on the nomination, we are unable to provide you with details about this matter.
