U need to upload photo...its mandatory...if ,it has not been relevant ,then why the hell on this earth other people upload it...my agent also would have ignored it just like urs...but he uploaded it... So the bottom line is ...firstly 489's are being processed slowly now a days and secondly (on the top of it) if u dont upload proper documents then how wud u get a direct grant...

Dear all... Today i come across a case who got granted yesterday ...he mentioned case officer called him and have a conversation of around 30 minutes asking about form 80 details...dependents ...where are u living ryt now and where are the dependents..etc etc and after that phone call in 45 minutes he got the grant...Also he mentioned his case is handled by his agent so how co contacted him..?

Yes right...if its received at the moment ..it will remail received untill the grant or untill co contacts.. Salma i dont think co will contact u because u uploaded each and every document required..in november itself... And also dont think that ur case is not even looked into if no co contact is there...they contact only if certain document is needed...because having a look into cases of feb got co contacts in april only if there is certain payment pending or document which they think is of utmost important is not uploaded... Salma...april is our month(hopefully)

Yes you can show ur spouse 's job as full time job and make her as primary applicant for 887 visa...showing 2 years of stay and one year of full time job...

Salma... Stop worrying this much... All of us surely get the grant.. Forget about special conditions now...it is for those who are about to apply EOI.. We all have passed and cleared that phase.. Even my job code is under special conditions... It doesnt matter now...Once we have applied for visa ...we all are equal now .. We all are getting grants sooner or later...

My dear friend... From all the experience so far i can say there is no transparency in this... Someone is getting visa in mere 80 days ,someone not even in 140(like me)...nothing can be said ...all depend upon country to country ...mind set of co(most important),and last but not the least LUCK... I hope u get direct grant without hassles of co contact... One thing i like to mention...i got immi commencement mail in december ...i applied in november..it said my case is under further progress and from then my status in -in progress...there is no co contact till now ...also that mail contains my co 's name... One of my known got visa last month in just 3 months ...no co contact ..nothing...status was received and then suddenly grant mail came ...it was diect grant...status changed to finalised...he never knew whether a co assigned or not... So no fixed pattern ... Oh GOD...

Dont u want to get direct grant !!!! Y so worried about case officer...? If ur paperwork is up to the mark ...dont wish for case officer buddy... In case co contact is there ...one receives a mail and also it appears on immi account that further documents are needed...

Same here...even i uploaded my case in march ...and not even a single person for my code ..2 cases in 2017. .isn't strange...

Salma... If u have frontloaded each and every document required and co is still not contacting..(you stated u applied in november) then,you (my dear) are getting direct grant....

Hi salma... The mail which i m talking here has no relevance..that is why most people dont get it..It is just we received it thats y im talking about it... We actually have front loaded everything ...and according to our agent there are 90% chances we get direct grant... And also people who dont get this mail equally have chances of direct grant... And also if co contact is there...a mail will come stating additional documents required (not immi commencement email , the subject is totally different of both mails) and also documents required option will appear on ur immi account...

Yes ...I got immi assessment mail .. We applied for visa on 16 november...489sa(261312) My husband is main applicant ... Me and two kids are dependends. In december got this immi assessment mail stating our co name but co never contacted ...it said our case is under further progress...And from then (december)my status is -in progress...

Hi renault Did u get immi assessment commencement email? Have u uploaded everything while lodging visa? Whats ur status in immi account? Whats ur visa lodgement date?

Hi Jon.. U must be saying this just because of 489 updates... This 489 tracker has just 1000 cases uploaded in it...while 189 has 9000 approx... There are so many people on 489 which have not updated their cases ...may be those people are getting grants ...even on 489 people are getting grants ... So ...the bottom line is... may be april and may is for november and december visa applications... I m just writing this to share some positivity...guys... We all are getting direct grants if every thing is uploaded upfront... May god grant my wish for everyone....

Yes Also i have heard that rarely anyone gets this email... It states my case is under further progress along with my co name in it...but co never contacted...
