Just wanted to share something .. I applied my file through MA but I added my new born daughter myself for free.. My MA told me to pay $550(MA fee for preparing application) and $850(DIBP fee )

I rang DIBP and they told me the process. I searched a bit on website as well and found everything. DIBP doesn't charge any fee for newborn babies. There is only one form to fill (Form 1022)

The fee I paid was only for her passport and birth registration certificate which I need it anyway. I want to help my fellow friends who are in the same situation. Don't waste your money and don't believe on MA blindly.

Hi all,

when we can get the reply email from immigration after we wrote the complaint to it. Last Friday I wrote that but didn’t get any reply to confirm they received or not. I’m afraid if I leave the right email address or not, just worried about it. Do you guys have any ideas? Thank you!

I applied in April 2017 and my file is finally being processed. Last month, my MA lodged a complaint through the immi website enquiring about my application and we received a response from them in the next few days to say they are currently processing the application. 

It is  a compliant form that you have to fill on the website not an email. I would suggest to use this way of contacting the dept only if you are outside of the normal processing time. On another note, please make sure you get copies of visa lodgement etc as a proof from your MA, I have heard terrible horror stories about some MAs who have taken the money and lied to clients that the applications were lodged but nothing was actually lodged. I don’t mean to scare you but better be safe than sorry.

I hope your applications are processed soon and we all get our approvals soon.

did your agent ask you to pay extra for the complain letter? I asked my agent to complain, he said I need to pay 1000+ gst. I think it’s a part of my application and I already paid 7800 dollars when I change to this lawyer and also it’s unreasonable for me to pay that.

My MA is going to complaint again in formal. Hope it works this time as we complaint even before but it didn’t work at all and my MA called them yesterday and they said they are waiting for case officer i don’t know why they making excuses.

same here, but I don’t know how to complain to the immigration? Write a letter to them? But if they did not read your case, they won’t open your file. If we make a call to the migration, they always say ‘ it depends on different case and some cases are complicated......’ I want to say no matter how complicated the cases are, the officers should deal with the over time cases. Otherwise why they write the standard processing time. Sorry write too much. At last, if you know how to contact the migration in person, would you please let me know. I will join  in you!

did you ask the immigration if they received your documents or not? Or have you received any information from your boss? I applied October 2016 and I’m still waiting for a decision.  On 10/03/2019, My boss has an bad issue in the immigration. I have looked for help from accredited specialist. But not sure about the result. I totally understand your situation. Very stressful everyday. But you need to ask your boss if your boss has something wrong. All the best to us.

I totally understand your situation. I applied October 16 and am still waiting and had bad dreams sometimes and become very stressful because of this. I don’t know what’s the results. I can’t imagine how my life be if this visa failed but still waiting with hope and sometimes with anxiety. Hope we all have good luck.
