  1. Visa Granted Applied last week of Jan 18 Email second week of Nov 18 No Interview Extensive Documentation on each variable Visitors Visa Refusal in Oct 18 Proposed plans n proofs of Rukhsati n Walima disclosed.
  2. Did they specifically asked you to provide the police check from all 3 cities yo have lived in? or you provided yourself ? Thanks
  3. It doesn't matter. This is how it works there. Get your father-in-law to write a statement saying that he is working for me and he is my son and I pay him such and such amount on regular basis to support his family. you may also include that you live as a one family unit and financial burdens are bore by your father-in-law too. in case it happens that way. make sure the statement is attached with his NIC and English translation for that. hope it helps
  4. and inappropriate. They never want anyone's application to be hanging in the air for no reason. But they can't check the boxes themselves. "Unfortunately" everything in Australia works and relies on documents. my best wishes for the ones who are waiting for so long but trust me, these people are amazingly professional and they have empathy for everyone. Been working with Australian departments as Interpreter including DHA, great people to work with. very professional..hope it helps
  5. No Use, I appleid with the heaps of valid documentation. She had a Govt job to go back to, everything in favour but it turned out to be a denial as she don't have any travelling history. The documentation couldn't get any better than that as she had a leave letter approved from Punjab Secritariat, but DFAT's report is getting worse and worse every year, for Pakistan. So I reckon, sit tight and wait. Technically claims you make in visitors visa are exactly opposite to what you imply in 309 visa. So denial of visitors visa is quite right and justified as it contributes towards your 309. Hope it helps
  6. XXXXXXXXXXX *Moderator note - we don't allow names of COs to be posted, just initials please,
  7. just wondering why they are asking the obvious documents that I have submitted already, again. -Polio certificate was submitted and is valid till FEB 19, but I will provide again -Relationship History statement was never provided, me and my wife just provided basic 2 paragraphs statements each. Now I am writing relationship statement for each of us, that us detailed and explains how our proposal was etched and how we got married and what are we up to, now. (suggestions welcome) -Ours mariage was an absolute arrange marriage, proposed by a common friend. Tricky thing is, we haven't done any rukhsati/reception yet. Rukhsati is 8 DEC followed by Reception on 9 DEC. The 28 days documents submission deadline is elapsing on 10 DEC...So they have clearly asked to "provide the evidence of the rest of he functions including rukhsati and if you haven't performed the rukhsati yet, tell us when is it going to be". I thinking about proving the true statements and plan of rukhsati and walima along with invitation cards and Venue booking receipts and tell them clearly that we haven't done it yet but we are doing it in 2 week's time and than providing them PICs latest by 9 DEC. any suggestions?
  8. Hi All, I applied 29 Jan 2018. CO just contacted yesterday for additional documents with mention of 4 heads: -other requirements -Polio Vaccination -Relationship History Statements -Evidence of your relationship with your spouse In addition to my understanding from the explanation of CO for each requested document, I welcome advise and suggestions. Thanks
  9. Any news from January 2018. Applied 28 Jan 2018, heard nothing as of yet. Applied for my wife through my immi account, no communication what so ever.
  10. Well, they don't take the requirement of 309, for being offshore, as a bounty/reason to leave Australia. Pakistani spouses are not getting visitors visa lately which is after the placement of Pakistan in high risk countries and DFAT's latest report on authenticity of documentation etc. I will not encourage anyone to apply visitor visa if they are already on the threshold.
  11. Well I reckon don't apply tourist visa. My wife's tourist visa was denied earlier this month despite having the substantive and extensive documentation. She has a great bounty to go back and the biggest one is her Govt job as a Doctor. So, you will end up wasting time and money as the decision I had was nothing but a pile of bizarre reasons.
  12. Great, you are just oround the edge. they won't grant you visa with this medical. they will ask you for new medical, upon expired followed by the visa grant. its quite normal especially when medical is about to expire. good Luck!
  13. 10K Australian in her account would be good. No matter you have applied for 309, you still need to fulfil the condition of temporary entrant which means you need to show her ties to home country that she will go back. Simply, you are convincing the CO that this is the reason why she will go back. Most substantive reasons are Job/property owned/her family or any continuing studies. Good Luck
  14. Sponsor status will never change I reckon as it is just additional information of sponsor. Applicant is your wife and her application's status is meant to change from received to initial assessment to further assessment. So, nothing to worry.
