They said that you will not come back due to economic crisis of Pakistan and also you have more opportunities there in Australia etc etc. They usually do not grant visit visas to Pakistani applicants.

One of my family member applied for family sponsored visit visa after applying spouse visa but it was rejected. And yes they take the interview also. And they contacted after 3 months of applying the visit visa and refused the visa.

No progress. I received the further documents request on 12th June 2018 I was given 28 days to submit which I submitted within 15 days since then no further communication and no interview.. this wait is so frustrating.

About delaying the biometrics my sister in law did the same.. infact she realised after 8 months when they requested for further documents that she had not done the biometrics. She had applied on 11 th May 2017 and got the biometrics request the same day and missed that email and then did biometrics after 8 months and there was no issue for her. She got her visa grant in about 9.5 months. So I hope everything works out fine for you too.

Hello everyone. I have been a silent reader of this forum and it has helped me a lot. But I am losing patience after seeing the new timelines which they updated today on their website. Has anyone seen the new timeline?? 21 to 26 months DOL: 25th November 2017
