My medical expired almost a week ago but in immi account it still says Health Clearance provided ( no action needed).

It depends on co if he needs Ur medical again or not once Ur file will be allocated then co will make decision on medical whether he needs it again or he use his discretion to wave it normally they wave it off till 6 mnths even after expired

@Deep1991 I'm not so sure there is an actual policy or guidelines that mean this for sure - I was chatting with my MA yesterday and they said they have seen cases go from Initial Assessment to Granted and cases from Further assessment to granted - it seems like it purely depends on the CO and who views /deals with the case. I would be ideal if there was some sort of guidelines / policy that they followed. That way we would know what to expect.

I think that's the biggest thing, with all the inconsistencies, we just don't know what to expect, when.

I agree with you diff people diff experience. Very hard to understand how they wrks. There are nominations who were granted straight away after 2 yrs without further document request and there were nominations frm who co requested documents which were recently lodged. Look like it's all in the hands of co. If co is lenient he dnt ask much but if co is strict he asks everything which he can

Nope, not being on the forum. Of "no-one here has (or wants to admit that they have) any connections in the department for this area". I would have assumed "people would know people" that might be willing to try help where possible. 🙂

Hex it looks like frm this forum people who goes to further assesment take much longer than tht who were granted straight frm initial assesment. I hav seen people waiting here on further assesment frm 4-5 mnths. U r lucky tht Ur status hasn't changed

  6. 28 minutes ago, Hex said:

@Deep1991 We've already submitted all requested documents, via the MA - the application has been updated with the documents but is still "initial assessment".

    - We are complete with everything that they have requested and are now just waiting.

My MA is anticipating it being finalized the next time the CO reviews the application, I was just curious to see how many people's applications have gone from "initial assessment" to granted.

I actually think it could change to finalized at any stage and is all CO dependant.

    Gud luck hex

Has anyone had their case go from "Initial assessment" (with documents being requested) to granted - without going to further assessment?

Hex I think once we submit the requested docs it goes to further assesment automatically. I dnt think they do it manually or co do tht. It's once we click on uploaded requested docs swict on immiaccount it goes to further assessment but m not sure. Hav u people done Ur kids medical. If it done does Ur app status changed ornot

    Hi guys.

Is there anyone who knows well about benchmark training B.

I am not clear about it. I mean how many years of the benchmark B receipts needed when we apply for 186 trt?

    My case is this.

    457 visa started on 16/02/2016 to 16/02/2018

    186 TRT applied on 24/02/2018

My agency has provided 2 years receipts of benchmark training B which is 2015~2016 and 2016~2017.

Is it sufficient or should I provide 2017~2018 as well?

    Thanks every one.

It has to be from the day Ur company's sbs approval came. Not sure how immi wrks on this things. It's always recommended to do training benchmark A. If I ha done b plz provide all the evidences tht who has attended the training session and all the receipts.

    Thanks mate.

Nomination was approved same day as they served me with the letter 08/08/18.

The main things we had to prove were:

-That it would cause significant stress to an Australian resident or citizen if I was to not have my visa approved.

My partner is studying at the moment (she is a citizen) and my baby is obviously a citizen so I am the only breadwinner in the household so that helped. For that we had to supply her TAFE documents, our joint bank account details etc.

    - That I had significantly contributed to the Australian economy and communities (member of surf life savers, charities etc)

I am not a member of any charities or clubs (that would of helped) but I do pay a lot of tax so we sent my last 2 years PAYG summaries.

    - I had made a genuine mistake.

I had but this was hard to prove. My MA helped write a letter along with the HR manager of my employer to explain my character etc and that I had made a genuine mistake I hadn't tried to hide anything etc.

We also included my mortgage documents to show we owned a home here etc.

    Hope this helps!

Thnks mate for detailed explanation. Enjoy Ur life

Hi everyone  , I would like to share my story  today , applied 187 direct entry  on feb 2018  from regional area. Living in Melbourne for last 9 and half years in Melbourne with my wife and little one very happily working 5 days hard and 2 days with my beautiful  family and then I applied 187 having full skill and qualification including genuine position in the hotel in regional Victoria bcoz no option to stay in Australia further bcoz I am already in Australia in for last 9 and half year  and one day I applied 187 d entry  after then I life completely mess up I become yes man to them . Despite of good wages I have to work them like a donkey no personal life and family life. Ready to work any roster any time 4 -12 hours a day depends how busy is. If busy have to work 7 day up to 13 hours. If quite 3.5 days a week in quite session . I am telling you this Bcoz I sicker  this awaiting prossesing time some of fake applicant and sponsor we all genuine are suffer and exploited bocz they only look after business and profit don give a shit about other people feelings they also are human beings. Good luck to all

U r right bro. I hav seen some of fake files got approval. Not on this page but around here where I live. Departments policy of catching fake employer or applicant looks like hav failed big time. Only people who were stuck 95 percent of them are genuine. They suffer at the end. Either their bussiness shuts down or they hav some issue wth employer in this long processing time. Fake ones get through easily. Looks like departments policy to increase processing time has big effect on genuine files rather than fake. Same I hav seen with partner visa files people who hav already married and hav everything genuine they are struggling to get their partner visa but people who just hav just registered their marriage  and real marriage still hav to take place got their visa approved without any problems. Everywhere genuine is struggling and fake is getting through. Departments policy failed big time

Immigration aren’t obliged to rush things through. They’re bureaucrats and their job is to fill visas in areas and skills which are required by Australia. They’re under an obligation to the Australian tax payer not to someone who is applying to enter. If they just went open slather and processed everyone without due care and attention then there would be a flood and that wouldn’t be good for the Aussie community.  It may not be what you want but you always have the right to revoke your visa application, no one is forcing you to move to Australia. Living in Australia is unfortunately not a God given right for everyone.  Peter Dutton was the best Immigration minister we’ve had in a long while.

Why dnt they stop immigration. Why they give fake times on websites. Who is forcing thm to grant visa. They can refuse it their wish but must be done within given time frame. If they really care stop migration. God has given enough manpower to Australia to run their country by themselves. Why universities frm Australia go abroad and do seminars to attract students. They shuld stop this. They shuld run their universities by themselves. God has given thm enough. They dnt need money frm international students. If they attract international students wth fake dreams it's their mistake not the migrant. They shuld be ear with their policies at frst stage.

    pretty much

Looks like they are following tht strategy as they know if they refuse application they will win it in AAT so never give them chance to go to AAT and hold them as long their bussiness does not shut down. I hav seen some cases here where applicant is waiting frm 2 yrs and no response at all  but  whn bussiness closes down they suddenly open tht file within days

    Same here

requested  doxs on 18 July and submit 26 July till now nothing

Looks like by requesting docs they just check if restaurant still running or not if smone submit doc they disappear again and if restaurant is closed they refuse the nomination. Looks like they are just playing games wth applicants life

My MA told me, one of his client applied on 2nd April and got his nomination and visa today on same day even without asking any further documents. He applied through TRT and his occupation is restaurant manager and he's from India.

On the other end one of his client from the same industry working as a chef in an Indian restaurant. He applied in May 2017 still didn't get any update.

They both are from same country and even almost same fields too. And both restaurants are making almost same profits.

What the immigration Australia is doing?????

Looks like they are following lottery system. They just take out draw and lucky one get their result

Not Bullshit. Take the two examples you provided:

    1. DE applied in FEB 2018 and they got their visa in  SEPT

    VS

    2. lots of people from same occupation waiting from 2016

If you can say for 100%, that every aspect of their applications are EXACTLY the same then you may have a point. But I have more chance of wining the Powerball 8 times in a row than that being the case.

Let me make it clear - Date Lodged and Occupation are not the only factors the immigration department take into consideration when processing visas.

Look, there is nothing you or me can do to speed up our applications. We just need to sit tight and wait it out. Calling the process bullshit wont help.

But wht are they considering. Smtimes they give decision on a file which is lodged recently, they grant that file or they refuse it. But some of them they are waiting fr on 28-29 mnths. Why they are waiting. Why they are not even getting refused. No decision at all. Are tht files tht bad tht they cannot even be refused.
