My Agent knew about this, but she says Why didn't I inform about my work experiences to her three years ago. I don't know how could I have informed her, when I did not know this issue. No point arguing with her now.      The skill assessment were okay with my work experience, and they approved it, yet Immi did not accept that. 

Now My ma is suggesting to go for TRT stream because I have completed two and a half years on 457.  I don't have the heart or anymore strength to go through the ordeal, all over again. 

But, I think I will be in a better mental state in the next few days..

I applied 457 in 2016,  186 DE was applied on June 2017. So the CO did not take into consideration my work experience, after June 2017.

Plz go fr trt u will get it. It will be 6-8 mnths wait which is worth enough for ur last 10 yr struggle plz go fr trt

From April 2017 to Jan 2019.it makes 21 mnths. He didn't make any mistake only mistake he made was by mistake he wrote nomination approved on Oct 2017 which is actually Oct 2018 which is after 17 mnths of file lodgement and it further took 4 mnths for his visa which makes 21 mnths

These were the only details given on Ur nomination approval letter. And it says u must lodge Ur pr within 6 mnths of this approval if u havnt lodged yet

Yes my frnd got it whn its15 mnths old. It's discretion of case officer if they wave it or not. Acc to my exp normally they wave it off fr further 3-4 mnths after 12 mnths

Brother plz dnt think negative. If u r going through struggling days now then happy days are waiting for u. U will definately get Ur pr only thing u hav to keep patience. I got it after 29 mnths and in between I also feel stressed but then I realize overthinking will not give me anything rather than bad health and I just keep moving wth flow of time. Probably we had such a long wait because the nomination was originally refused. Approved then through appeal.

My calculations says that, considering the current processing times, I should be out of the deadline around May-ish (this excluding the time spent with the nomination frozen for the appeal).
AH! Still remember when I originally submitted my application...the processing time was something like 4-6 months back by then...

Oh I got it now why u waited so long. Thnks for reply whn ur nomination was refused frst and how long it took in AAT for u

@boo-yaa method is likely the safest and most balanced bet and would suggest new applicants to follow something close to it if in doubt.

Application opened: 4 July 2017 (note this is the same day taht my nomination was approved, so very peculiar)- my MA and I were pleasantly surprised by the application being opened so quickly.  They requested for some reference letters from my previous employers which we provided by 11th July 2017.

And that was it!! - I have been waiting for correspondence ever since.

My employer contacted Immi by phone in May 2018 and we were only told "it is being looked at" and the guy wouldn't say another word.

You can imagine my level of frustration.

Please share you thoughts and experiences.

Has any one in WA heard from immi recently?

Even if smone is having conviction they can still process application according to wht law says if it says it doesn't pass character test they shuld refuse it or otherwise grant it but they were delaying applications for no reason is not fair. Smone got refusal after 31 months. How is tht fair why dnt they refuse within time frame how can it take 31 mnths to refuse smone
