I tried to call them and let them know that technically people who ve applied waaaaaaay later are being processed and they told me that yes, that is true, but technically I am still within the time frame so I have to suck it up. I could tell Dutton was listering and giggling like Mr Burns at his desk!!!

docs requested were proof of work experience and qualification which were already uploded anyway.

 

Congratulations!!! Waiting as restaurant manager as well from 16 months hopefully there some light to be seen for me too soon!

Hei Tiziana, the guy possibly plain lied to you. I’ve heard the same multiple times but status still received and nothing happened ever since I applied

I m waiting for grant of my DE 186 visa as cafe manager since 16 m. My owner has decided to sell the venue I am working to another investor. He also has a related sister venue within the same building running with a different name but under the same abn. My nomination has been made with this Abn, my payslips won t change nor my duties, location etc.... and the owner is willing to keep me like this until the grant and go along with it. Do you think I can make it?

No, not really there is no info whatsoever out there, and there is no clarity on the processing, no info and no contacts. Ma can’t do anything so basically I have no idea how long this  nightmare will go on

If they buy the business and continue to operate under the same ABN number, then you should be OK.

You need to discuss this with your employer as their decision on the sale of the business could have a devastating affect on you.

thanks for your reply. I Rectify, the company I work for is a coffee roaster with roastery , training centre and a cafe in melbs. I’ve been working for their cafe in Sydney (the one the owner just sold) my MA thinks as my visa is under the company abn (the Sydney venue, roastery ect run all under the same abn) there’s no risk, as he says they can move it onto the melbs venue. Problem is, melbs venue is only a limited food and no service venue and I’m afraid it won’t qualify for immigration purposes.

I applied in June 2017 for DE 186 as a restaurant manager. So far no news, except the one I didn’t want to hear. My owner is selling the venue I’m working in. MA says should be fine as I have applied under the company ABN (I work as restaurant manager for a coffee roaster company) unfortunately my company does not have another similar venue with full table service etc, so I am afraid this change will impact me.

Open to any suggestions

Hei mate thanks so much for your reply. When did you apply and under what stream? I do understand your status of anxiety and depression as, believe me. I don’t know why these people treats us like pieces of paper and have no human compassion for our situation. I wish them to live in a limbo for more than 15 months, with a job that pays you the minimum for the max effort. It is ridiculous that Australia does not provide info on applications which cost us like 20.000$ I am so hopeless and frustrated I’m finding it difficult to smile and find a purpose to fulfill mY day as this is like a black dog, Churchill would have said

hi friends 

I have a question. I called immigr main phone line today to inquire about my application. Normally they won’t give any info but this guy ask all my details, visa app reference etc and then put me on hold like 5 min. He came back saying he had been looking into my file and “It is not in process actually your CO is processing the file as we speak” in my immiaccount thou the status is still recieved

any one has similar experience? What should I believe? Am I ever going to get an answer?

I have a question that I am wondering if you can help me with. I am waiting since 6/17 for processing of 186 DE Rest Manager. My company has a training centre, in which they do hospo related training and courses both for us and other companies. We pay 2 full time trainers, and the annual budget is way over 2%. Do you think I shoukd be fine with training benchmarks?

Nope no response, no news, just time getting longer and longer... 13 months is I will have to wait until 18m )if no more delays) to only be allowed to ask for an update, basically is a dog running after his tail.... I am really hopeless and feel like Australia is not the great country it pride itself to be, and is going along with exploitation of human beings who are forced to do things they shouldn’t be doing in their job, to pay themselves for fees meant to be for employers just to be left in the dark for so long! So angry

Yes, Sydney man! Honestly I’m starting to lose my shit here, I was prepared for a year or so but I don’t know how I’m going to survive if it takes longer, I am already on the verge of pulling my hair  did you try to call ask complaint etc? The annoying part is that shit like APC medicals will expire soon and also my boss is kinda sick of having to constantly update financials and trainings etc... I am not sure how long he will go along with this
