Hi. We are in the early stages of getting the paperwork together for our Expression of Interest and I'm already stuck! Hoping somebody can help on here as we've decided to do this without an agent. I am looking to book my English Language test but I am unsure whether I should be booking in for the general training or academic test? I would have assumed general training but as I am applying as a secondary school teacher I'm not sure whether I would need the academic? I am also hoping to apply for Partner Skills points (my husband is a Welder) - would he also need to take and English test? It says online that he would need to prove his competency but I'm hoping certificates proving his education/UK passport would suffice? Thanks in advance for any advice!
