Hello all, we are planning to move to Brisbane and things seems to be working out so far fingers crossed now that it seems a bit nearer I have been wondering how does one find to settle in Brisbane area( we need to know good schools and family friendly neighbouring areas) and how did you sort out or find the settling down period. Its good to know we can do that as well haha. do u use mosquito nets or just sprays are good enough? I dont like wasps they are annoying.

wow more rain than Manchester thats interesting. we might end up in the coastal areas as a lot of people has suggested that it has better weather. My friend has lived only in Sydney but i have other friends who live in Brisbane and Adelaide too. thank u for your reply.

IT and yes until visa is through everything is all in the air. Yes we are currently at that stage and we are checking our emails and updates everyday haha. Skills assessment has been submitted and we are waiting.

Wow so you have seen more snakes in Denmark!!! Yes I feel so much more calmer now as everyone has been telling me how to be careful and how to minimise them in my garden. I feel better and a bit ready now. Never knew what would happen if a spider venomous or non venomous spider bit me. I have never seen a spider close enough to bit me. It's a mystery. I need to Google it [emoji52]

Wow 37 years and not seen one that's so good. I wish I could be like that. I have been thinking to have a cat and a dog too but worried how they would react when they encounter snakes. Good to know snakes are shy creatures. I need to learn about them so I could understand them better.
