I gave exam in 2017 . Already expired long time ago. Let's see. .And the place where I live thousands km away from main city.
IELTS needs to be valid at time of application. Visa processing times and delays caused by AAT does not affect this.
Your agents should know this.

applied for AAT August 2019
AAT requested documents August 2022 which were submitted in September 2022, haven’t heard anything since.
how long was the wait for a hearing date? has anyone received a hearing date recently?
thanks
Ours took 5 months and then a month from health and police check submission to PR grant.
Considering the holiday closures you should be hear back no later than March.

So i had 2 requests seperately.
Got first one only for Health Check on 17th October
I have Done my Health check on 20th October. It was Updated Next day then i got s56 request for AFP, My own Country PCC and Form 80 on 21st October and was given usual 28 days to submit them.
Submitted my AFP on 28th October, Form 80 on 15th November, Asked for extension on the same day as my PCC didnt arrived yet.
Submitted my PCC on 27th November.
So they haven’t touched it since
What is your agent saying? Have you tried calling or email the department?

That’s a bit odd.
Our s56 Request was received Nov 14. The ‘last updated’ in the Immi account is Nov 17.When did you submit the police and health checks?

Any Update MilaMocha?
I have been in the same boat since they last asked me to provide Police Clearances on 21st October.
Status is Further Assesment , with Finalised next to my Name
That is a very long wait
No update yet, tomorrow marks 3 full weeks since the last update in the ImmiAccount (police and health checks registered).
Was your nomination decision remitted or substituted?

Your name is finalized because your health check is done. Now you just need to wait, give them a call won't make it faster because I did the same. But mine is exactly 28 days after my document was requested.
The finalised doesn’t refer to the health checks but to the application itself. I am not looking under health assessment but under application home.
I know it’s not about the health check because I have another application in ImmiAccount which was withdrawn and the status to the name says withdrawn. This one now shows finalised.
There shouldn’t be any wait at this stage.

I've seen some people saying at least 1 month after CO requested for further documents. Hopefully you'll hear from them soon.
There’s nothing further to request. Police check and medical check were provided and marked as received/no further action required.

Anyone knows a number I can call to ask about a specific update (not generic advice)?
131 881 wasn’t helpful

What does immiaccount's status turns like as soon the case gets allocated to an officer?
As far as i know AAT has no jurisdiction to substitute and approve a visa PR, but can 'substitutes a decision approving the nomination'. We are talking about the nomination, which is different. Also my nomination has been approved by AAT, but the visa was remitted for a review since we need to provide addictional documents as AFP and medical, which AAT is not entitled to ask, and eventually asking for employer letter stating position available for the next two years. Check your immiaccount and see whats the status like, mine is still finalized and hasnt moved from there, @Paul0015 is correct, immi sometimes takes time to allocate it, but lately many cases have been processed in just few days, my friend won aat in may and got immi s56 in july, two months later, and received his PR in august, totally 3 months. I have no idea what this would depend from, maybe different state office and different work loads and time frame, or some officer is just negligent and takes time, but we can only wait.
Understood, I too am talking about the nomination decision. It can be remitted or substituted, unless affirmed, so my question is was your nomination decision remitted or substituted.
Not talking about individual visas (PR).
I heard that substituted decision are fast-tracked to and by Immi.
Thanks

June 2019.

Don’t stress too much mate as department can take longer to finalise the application after AAT remittance, as mine took around 4 months to allocate a case officer and 7 months to grant. So just be patient and get ready your pcc etc.
7 months from remittance or from allocating a case officer?
Also, does anyone know if the process is faster if the decision is substituted, not remitted?
Thanks

Waiting to hear back from Immi now for the medical check and individual visas.

No they didnt request anything else beside the items we sent
I submitted documents by request on 11/4, hear nothing back and got a hearing day 2 days ago.
Finally! Good luck!
Do you know who will be going to the hearing?
-

Mine is 4 months so I guess you still have to wait for a while.
You waited 4 months to get a hearing date? Or the hearing date is in four months from your submission?
Also, did they request anything else after the usual request (the default letter with 10 items)?
Thanks

Finally got my hearing on 25/08, member is D Kelly. I heard that she is really really strict. Working for 5 years for the employer and now this Even though everything is genuine
How long after the deadline (to submit documents to AAT) did they reach out with a hearing date?
We’ve been waiting for exactly 5 weeks and nothing.

I also applied for AAT review in July 2019, and my case was opened last Month. They requested for submission of additional papers. I'm now just curious as to how long it will take them to review.
Exactly 5 weeks since we submitted what they requested and haven’t heard a word.
Appealed July 2019.

AAT cannot make a negative decision on the case without a hearing, so possible outcomes are:
1) positive outcome based on current submission
2) further documents are requested, then positive outcome based on it, or a hearing date
3) hearing date
