    Good Morning All

All the best to us, hope to read few grants today, and as many of us has noticed , I've just found the same thing.. Theres no timeline on immi account and status are received asusal..I'll comlpete my 11th month tomorrow as TRT.

I also checked my ImmiAccount this morning and I had the same as you, no timelines stated as before.

The Immi website was under maintenance during the weekend so the change must happen since then.

    Hey @Rizwan

Unfortunately I had a very similar thing happen, but was still in the country. I immediately got a personal migration agent who looked over everything; basically means your employer didn't meet the standard for the nomination, which they can't tell you as it is the employers application, and unfortunately, you need to withdraw your application within the 28 days or else your visa will automatically be refused which will be a mark against your name (most visa applications have an 'Have you ever been refused a visa before?' question in there...just prolongs things if you have to tick yes). That includes losing the visa application fees if you were unfortunate enough to have paid them out of your own pocket like I had.

As you are on a bridging visa B, and are off-shore, I've got a very bad feeling about it. If I were you, I'd be on the phone to a registered migration agent as soon as possible.

Of course, I'm no migration agent, and only know what you've written about and my personal experience, so I would invest in a consultation with an MA.

This is a very useful information and this is exactly what my MA advised that should not submit Nomination and Application together. Because if Nomination is refused then Application is also automatically refused and it will be marked in your profile.

Therefore they advised they would submit Nomination first, then if it is approved, they will submit the Application.

Of course, if both are submitted together then if the approval happens, both might happen at the same time and it will save a lot of time to wait further.  But if the Nomination is refused then there is a risk with the Application.

Good morning folks. Been a silent reader and follower of this forum. Just wanted to share a good news and relief you all too that immigration is indeed processing the files as I’ve received a golden ticket to stay permanently in Australia after 10 years and 2 weeks of struggle, hard work, patience, positive approach, being optimist of positive outcome, aggression, extortion, long hours like a slave, unfair treatment, 2 student visa, 2 TR visa, 1 RSMS rejection, 1 457 visa and finally 186 visa granted yesterday. It has been a journey full of emotion, fear of what future hold, a real test of character. I’m glad all those years hard work and patience has paid off finally. Here are my details of the application.

    Occupation :- Cook

Nomination and visa lodge date :- 27/02/2017

Nomination and visa both approved on same date :- 05/03/2018

No document requested. Opened, assessed, finalised with the grant.

I wish and will pray that all of your also get granted sooner then later. Cheers.

Big congratulations! All hard works are paid off and I really admire your patience. Wish you all the best.

unless you are an astronaut or your job saves lives take it easy and relax, I applied in April the day after the big announcement.. nothing since then

stuck in the limbo like many people here ;)

I understand. I read the forum and see how people are tired of waiting. The change in April 2017 does also affect me and I had to re do IELTS test according to new regulations. So stressful because I had to handle both work and studying.

My occupation had been also removed from the list but as I am a previous 457 so it wont affect my 186 application.

I think, it doesn't work, you can Try with the Nomination number from your previous Visa.

There are only 2 categories to enter: either Application ID or Transaction Reference Number. I tried both those 2 numbers from my Acknowledgement but still no Results shown

Hi, i just entered the application id number i have from when the application was submitted and then entered that. it shows up as received however i think my ma can see a lot more on their end.

I entered the application number that I have it from Acknowledgement of Application but still No Results show. I don't understand why?

I also applied for an Interim Medicard and it already arrived after just one week.

i followed up with my ma agent today to ask if i should get a new medical check bearing in mind it ran out at end of Jan and she said not to worry as it is to the case officers discretions.

I also wanted to follow up about the information we submitted on tuesday (the third lot of info regarding nom submitted since oct last year) she said they have asked for it to be finalised as soon as possible.

I want to call the processing team again, as sometimes you can get someone really lovely and helpful on the phone and they tell you more info, however i called them last friday.

My application has been in 11.5 months now.

i really just hope that the new information submitted does not go into the 28 day due, i really find that process so frustrating.

Has anyone had different experiences ringing the processing team?

i also just linked my application to my immi account, the ma told me that they had it linked to their account as they are handling the nomination for the sponsor also. the application now linked is just showing as received, which seems strange as i know they are processing, reviewing documents.

i know the department is short staffed and are having to deal with a huge workload, however with the cost of each visa being around the 4k mark, surely they can afford to hire more people. to be honest i would happily pay an extra 1k to department and have the application fee increased to $5k if it meant the processing times were not so long

May I ask how did you link your application which submitted by your MA to your Immi Account. Because when searched my application number in Immi Account, it said that "No result". I assume that because my application submitted via agent, therefore only agent could view the application process?

Correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.
