    Hi Tania,

Maybe my question wasn't clear because, when I'm writing in this forum, I'm thinking that some sentence are to obvious For all of those are following all the posts...

I was asking if our employer can receive a call from the Immigration even if we are using a MA.

I know that we'll never receive a private call from them.

    Thank's  anyway.

    I appreciated your answer...??

Hi Amy. I think anything could be happened. Immigration can call the employers to check if needed. Nothing would stop them if they think they need to have more clarification before approving and this is understandable.

    Hi Guys,

my MA said that we shouldn't receive any calls from the immigration asking question.

She said that if we are using an Agent they should talk with them...

But some people here received a call ??

    I'm a bit confused ??‍♀️ ??‍♀️

If you go via Agent, all correspondences will be sent to the Agent as they act on your behalf.

To what I read in the forum that the Immigration called employers/offices to check. They did not call the visa applicants directly.

My MA thinks this is a bad idea to complain... What do you think?

I personally would like to.. but I'm wondering how can it impact my application...

According to my MA, there is a separation of duties:

    - One person to download applications from the system

    - The applications are allocated to the teams

    - One person to check and approve the nomination

    - Another person to check and approve the visa application

Therefore I don't think your complain would delay the process. In fact, it might speed up, you never know.

2 years is a long wait.

Yeah, its effectively up to yourself how you do it.

I decided with the advise from MA to submit both at the same time. Mainly to speed up the process.

I just checked with my MA and they said they submitted both nomination and application. And because they submitted both then I am eligile to apply for Interim medicare. I am a bit released now.

You are completely correct, the only thing is you lose your application fee. So all the money we spent on the application, $5,000+ (cant remember the exact amount) was lost when we had to withdraw...it was painful to withdraw as the money was lost without anyone even looking at the application. That's mainly why some MAs prefer to do the nomination first, as to most the time doesnt mean as much to them as it does to us (thats not a go at MAs at all, but rather an observation of perspective)

Thanks a lot, your explanation makes sense. This is a game here, waiting time vs money.

If the processing timeline is correctly applied then at least we know how long to wait. But unfortunately it does not work that way so I feel the same pain as yours.

They always issue you with an 'invitation to comment on the refusal' or something like that, which basically gives you a period of time, like 30 days or so, to either withdraw your application, or appeal

Thank you. Then I don't understand why some agents are too cautious that they submitted nomination first, got approved, then submit the application. They said by that way if the nomination is rejected then application will not be rejected accordingly.

If there is a allowed time to  withdraw then it is better to submit both nomination and application at the same time because it will save a lot of time. Rather than nomination approved, then submit the application, then application will be processed later and it might take even few more months.

Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

Thanks desperately need support, No they didn’t request any papersjust  refused straight way, yes we are with migration lawyer and heading to see him and what’s your position atm? Did you reapplied for nomination?

Hi Manpreet . Are you going to appeal? If so, how much the immigration lawyer is going to charge you if you don't mind to share.

MA said to be careful about call them up as he will lose the control of my application.

Lika if I call and something happens it’s because I called... wtf is wrong in calling them I dunno

I think may be because all calls are recorded in your file so if calling too many time might annoy them?

    Hello Tania,

the latest updated once is your immi account one. They updated couple of days ago and keep changing it. The trend is 11 months in most of the cases

Thanks. I checked my ImmiAccount yesterday and still no timeline until today.

They increased from 9 to 11 months is really a sad news :(-

Thanks I called and they told me they are processing June2016-March 2017

I saw some people on the spreadsheet lodged their nominations and applications in Oct 2017 and they have already received grants. So it seems there is no order of the batch when they are processing.

Different applications, they should've attached it. Ring them.

Yes it is correct. It is a different application therefore they should attach all required documents.

As MA acts on your behalf so I don't think you can see all documents they uploaded by their Account.

I'M GOING FOR A MORE POSITIVE OUTCOME BECAUSE WHAT YOU PUT OUT YOU ATTRACT BACK:

    TRT: 5-8 Months

    DE: 8-11 Months

but what about that poor 10% that's left behind.... when will they be addressed, that 10% blows my mind every time i think about it!!11

Sound optimistic and I would love to see this timelines tomorrow :)

However, since Immi just cut 300 posts  and huge applications submitted since the changes in April 2017, I don't really think they could do faster than before

    Hey,

How do you import nomination application to personal IMMI acc?

I have selected the 'import application' but it asks for  the following details:

    Application details

    Reference number - I HAVE

    Main applicant details
    Date of birth
Travel document numberCountry of travel document

The above i'm struggling with as the nomination is a business not a person so obviously doesn't have a date of birth or travel document ect.

Neither of us have used an agent.

I have access to the company IMMI account but I'm conscious of annoying the lady in accounts every time i log on to check the status as she gets an email notification haha!

WHEN OH WHEN ARE OUR PROCESSING TIMES GOING TO REAPPEAR?

I'm using the powers within law of attraction in hope i will get approved this week! WHOS WITH ME!?

I would suggest dont import any documents by yourself if you have an Agent doing it on your behalf.

All you can check is your Application status by importing your Application number, that's it.
