Hi guys just wanted to let you know , that I have just received my 189 visa. All the documents was front loaded and it took just over 3 months . I lodged my visa on 19th Oct 2018. So those who are waiting - All the best !!!

But things might change! And they might start inviting people with 65 points , you never know. So don’t loose hope.

Hi Mpreet Thank you. I don’t think you can get invitation with 65 points . My friend who is an RN as well, submitted an EOI before me and she is still waiting. It has been nearly 8 months for her and still waiting. All the best !

Hi Amber i am a registered nurse as well. Applied for 189 with 70 points . Eoi submitted- 13th August 2018 and invitation received 11 October 2018. So I’m sure you’ll receive you invitation soon. Don’t worry thanks AJ

Hi Anna, i also received 489 from southern inland. The closest hospital there is Goulburn hospital and few Aged care and medical centres. None of them have FT jobs going atm. I’m afraid but I have decided not to accept the offer. As I think it’ll be a big mistake to move with out a job as the requirement for PR is that we have to live 2 years and work 1 year FT. And another thing, my agency was telling that if I don’t get a job at southern inland, I can go any regional / rural area of Australia for eg, in Victoria, QLD, Tasmania. But that’s a false information and don’t listen to your agency if they are giving you the same advice. IF you are nominated by southern inland you have to live and work there . All the best!
