    For documents, please refer to docs checklist from my previous posts. That list is from AHC Islamabad and is specific to pakistani applicants. We have shared almost all documents from that list relevant to our case. Interview questions were: - Confirmation of DOB of applicant and sponsor - how relationship was established - Routine of sponsor - job and salary details of sponsor - household setup in australia - whether rukhsati was performed or only nikah was done - likes and dislikes of sponsor - any bad habits or negatives of sponsor In short, they verify everything written in the application therefore it is important that application and interview answers are correlated to each other.

    After attaching the docs, we had replied on the email that docs have been attached to immi accout. After which we received their reply in the mentioned the following: “The concerned officer is informed accordingly.”

    Same here. We also submitted the requested docs and got acknowledgement. Waiting for grant now In Sha Allah

    I would suggest to go for medicals after 6-7 months of lodgment, because the validity of medical is 1 year and if visa application takes longer than 1 year, you will have to do the medical again which would be a waste of time and money.

    hi, 1) translated copy of urdu nikah nama was requested as part of doc checklist that we received before interview and we provided that before interview 2) yes, proof of relationship statement by friends and family in pakistan was also mentioned in doc checklist. We had provided that at the time of lodgement 3) after lodgement on sep 17, first contact was from AHC islamabad regarding doc checklist on 17 may 2018. and then interview on 25 june 2018. We didn’t contact immi dept in between because immi dept does not reply on visa status.

    We did not specifically mention it. However in application we mentioned that after marriage ceremony my wife decided to stay at her parents’ home because I had to travel to australia immidiately after our marriage to join my new job.

    The interviewer had asked explicitly whether rukhsati is performed or not. The tone of interviewer was positive troughout the interview.

    We had recieved doc checklist on 17 may 2018 when AHC Islamabad first contacted after lodgment.

    After interview call we received an email requesting statement regarding rukhsati and photographs of rukhsati ceremony. PS: we had our rukhsati ceremony just 3 days before interview, about which we had informed the interviewer during interview.

    Same here, no further communication after the email. Even if you had uploaded all doc at the time of lodgement, there are certain doc which are required in current state for example communication details while being away, recent salary slips of sponsor, etc Documents which are required in current state are mentioned in the checklist

    I have received my AFP certificate today and it is the one which they dispatched 2nd time after my call.

    Hi Everyone, I applied for AFP police certificate and after some days on 7 may I got their email that police check is completed and the certificate will be dispatched on next business day and will be delivered in 3-7 business days. after 10 business days when I didn’t receive it, I called again and they said okay we will dispatch another copy and I am again on a wait of 3-7 busiess days. Usually how long does it take to receive the certificate after it has been dispatched by AFP?? PS: The delivery address is locally within Australia. Regards.

    Police check is dated somewhere in Sep 2017 and medical was done a few weeks ago. Location of main applicant is Pakistan

    Just resize and combine the photos in a single pdf. Don’t attach individual photos otherwise you will exhaust your doc limit soon.

    Hi All, Today we have received first email from AHC after lodgement. The email contains the document checklist. The case officer has not asked for any specific documents, instead case officer has asked us to check if any document from checklist is missing and provide that within in 14 days. We have already provided most of the documents. I have a couple of questions regarding checklist. They have asked for 2 Form 888 from Aus Citizens/Residents and 2 statutory declarations from Pakistani declarants. We have already provided 2 From 888 from pakistani declarants as statutory declaration, as we don't have any aus friends who know both applicant and sponsor. I (sponsor) have some aus friends but they only know me not my wife (applicant). So how can I provide 2 Form 888 from Aus declarants? For all who have been granted visa, how much time it took for visa grant after you received such email from AHC? ===================================== Timeline : DOL: Sep 17, 2017 CO Assigned and sent doc checklist: May 17, 2018 DOI: <Waiting ....> ======================================

    As sponsor, has anyone submitted Australian Federal Police Clearance ? If yes, have you submitted only police check or police check + finger print check ?
