  1. Hi all,

I’m an events manager running out of hope as i have been waiting for about 19 months now with no reply nor any documents requests.

Im just wondering if you have any suggestions of what I should do then?

I have just paid another agent to overlook my application hopping that he would find any issues, and the only thing I have heard is that I did not tick the boxes of the Declaration Form - paying for visa sponsorship (attached). However the previous agent that has applied for my visa says that this form is no longer required. Does any one know what’s is true?

If this form is still required I’m afraid I’m not sure which of the two boxes I should tick: 1 I declare I have engaged... or 2-I declare I have not engaged...

Can some one please help? Thanks!

    Cheers

    Hi Moreno,

I applied for a 187 DE under Conference and Event Organiser on the 23rd Jan 2017. I haven’t heard anything yet.

Hi @Pipp Thank you for replying.

Are you are aware if this changes bellow applies to our case?

    Conference and Event Organiser

    Excludes positions that:
    • are in businesses that have an annual turnover of less than AUD$1M; or

We are in a similar situation to u we applied DE, only we have been waiting 17 months today. We emailed immi asking them to allocate our application, we explained that the wait is starting to effect our children, we explained that our eldest son is leaving school I'm June and he will have to make life choices, to be able to do that he needs to know where he will be living.

We received an email back today saying that they won't prioritise, just the standard email saying no !

Prioritising would mean putting us before others, as we have been left behind everyone else it's hardly prioritising lol its just doing what we've paid them to do.

This whole process is a total nightmare, I'm lucky I still have a job to go to with the amount of time they have left this.

I have a feeling that they have met their numbers for certain trades including hairdressers. I don't think I'll have my application picked up until the new tax year in July.

    Only time will tell.

Thank you @bradfords wish you all the luck!... this is a really annoying situation...

  4. Hey all,

I have applied for my visa under de domination scheme Temporary Transition on 19/12/2016 and now 13 months later (31/01/2018) I'm still waiting for it...

I have already contacted agent, immigration... but no updates. Their site says a wait from 7 to 10 months...

Has anyone experienced the same thing?
