MOT here is a Road Worthy Certificate. Normally the car seller would get this renewed and my advice would be not to purchase a car without one..buyer beware! You will need one to register the car...same as an MOT. It's not renewable each year like an MOT. But that's no reason to drive an un-road worthy car. If stopped by the vehicle compliance officers you could end up leaving your vehicle behind. And be issued a notice.
