    He ended up applying for a tourist visa and then filling in a form 1005 when he got back to have the bridging visa A reinstated. The bridging visa only activates when the tourist visa expires but at least he's back in.

    Thanks. Do you know if he could apply to have the BVA reinstated when he gets back in? We're waiting on a 820 spouse visa.

    Appleosprey, can you please tell me what happened to your case? My husband is stuck overseas at the moment because we didn't know about the bridging visa B before he left. Immigration doesn't open until Monday.
