Hi everyone. My friend has question. After applying for 186 visa during that processing time can a applicants work extra job on side while working full time for nominated employer. Since he is no more on 457 visa which is expired now.  Thanks.

As I was working with employer for 30 hours as there is no restrictions before visa so they objected y u were not working with him for full time hours as they think he is not capable to afford me for next 2 years so just going to appeal now & let’s see how it goes...

Preet Ji I have appealed against the decision which I thought would be better option. Because if I would have reapplied the Visa N nomination then we never know what would be the next reason for them to reject it again because after first refusal it should come up on my file all about first rejection. So I would suggest go for Tribal because there you have a chance for showing them what it take to approve your application. I wish you good luck preet

Sorry to hear that Manpreer_kaur Hey don’t be sad even my Nomination was refused in the ground of not providing fresh financial documents I can 9 years back still struggling so keep your head up everything will be alright

I’m already back in Melbourne working on to appeal against the decision. I’m not sure how long it would take to get response from Tribunals. Thanks anyways

Hey @Heena12so sorry to hear that. Even my Nomination fir TRT Restaurant Manager was been refused last week without Even asking further documents. What was the reason they said of refusal for you.

Sorry writing errors should have been not provided with recent financial documents. What you reason of refusal

I’m so sorry to hear that. What is the reason for refusal. Even my Nomination has been refused for providing recent financial documents

I immediately got a personal migration agent who looked over everything; basically means your employer didn't meet the standard for the nomination, which they can't tell you as it is the employers application, and unfortunately, you need to withdraw your application within the 28 days or else your visa will automatically be refused which will be a mark against your name (most visa applications have an 'Have you ever been refused a visa before?' question in there...just prolongs things if you have to tick yes). Letter just says your nomination for Rizwan has been refused and under this circumstances we cannot approve your visa. Invitation to comment on refusal. You must reply with next 28 days.  The worst part is I’m in India now I don’t know if they would let me in when I come back because I have bridging visa B. I’m not what to do now. Any suggestions 

My nomination has been refused without giving any reason. It just says invitation to comment on nomination refused ?

You are actually the first applicant whose nomination as Cook has been approved in long while. Congrats anyways hopefully you will have some more good news coming very soon

What was the month when immi dept last approved and Manager or chef PR  I feel like their requirements for those Positions are fulfilled and and nobody knows how long it’s going to take.

My date of application for both nomination and PR visa was lodge through MA on 23rd June 2017. I suspect it could be lodged not until the 25th June 2017 though he told me it's on 23rd June but anyway...

Nomination Approved: 14th November 2017 - we've been asked for health check, police clearance, Form 80 and home country certificate of good conduct.

All documents submitted on 27th November 2017

Occupation: Geophysicist (Transition Stream)

Approved: 20th December 2017

It was interesting bcoz I was chatting with my colleague ytd regarding PR visa. He told me he gave DIBP a call after 6 months and got it approved straight away within few hours.

So today decided to give it a go and I'm guessing just a random guy picked up the phone (extremely helpful and polite). He went through my application and said shouldn't be too long and it's been 6 days after the 28th day document submission deadline.

And then few hours later my migration agent called me with this good news!
