  1. Mine changed to approved 2 days before we got the visa. That means you’ll be getting it anytime!
  2. Thank you! ? The initial entry date is 11 March 2018. Apparently this is to do with the medical which is only valid for 1 year. My husbands medical was done in March so that makes sense. I submitted all docs on 21/11 and it took a couple of weeks. So can’t be long to go now for you. Good luck!! ?
  3. My husband lodged by himself through immiaccount. If you applied in April I wouldn’t be worried just yet. You’ll probably get the interview call in the next couple of weeks because that’s the timeline they seem to have. Most March applications had interviews done in November therefore the April ones should be December. Be prepared!! Maybe wait another month before applying for the visit visa because I have heard a lot that are getting rejected! And plus if everything looks good you should get the grant soon after that. In in terms of extra docs they were (quoted): -Affidavit/Statutory declaration written by at least 2 persons from your cousins, relatives, friends, neighbors or colleagues in Pakistan in order to witness and support your relationship. Persons who provide these statements should state reason of how they believe in your relationship, how they are related to the applicant/sponsor and they should attach their photocopy of NIC or Passport. These statements should be attested by an oath commissioner. -Evidence of employment status - Primary applicant. -Evidence of contact (Last 3 monts): call records, chat history, phone bills, screenshots of Viber, Whatsapp, Facebook or Tango. -Recent Bank Statment of the Joint Account. -Updated police certificate for me (the sponsor). I actually accidentally submitted a WA police certificate so applied for and submitted the AFP one. Hope that helps.
  4. Hi everyone We got our grant today!!? Timeline as follows: Applied: 20 March 2017 Interview + Further Docs requested: 14 Nov 17 Visa granted: 5 December 2017 Good luck to the rest of you. Hopefully you all get the grants soon. ?
  5. Just out of interest, has the immigration department ever contacted the people making the statutory declarations/affidavits for clarification of information?
  6. I’m the Australian citizen. My husband applied from Pakistan. I don’t think it’ll make a difference at this point to change your agent because once the application is submitted it’s really just up to the department to process it. @panda286 is right. It takes 8-10 months for contact with most visas from Pakistan being processsed within a year. They make you wait to see how genuine it is even if all the paperwork is correct.
  7. No acknowledgement or anything. They just called me yesterday. I was not expecting it at all. My husband who is the applicant got a call straight afterwards. They won’t tell you before hand because they don’t want you “prepared”. Helps them determine if the answers are genuine or not.
  8. Hi everyone, I have been reading this forum for a while and the information has helped a lot thank you. I have also applied for a partner 309.100 visa. Time line is as follows: DOL 20.03.17 DOI 14.11.17 Me and my husband both had our interviews today and then got an email for further information. One of the requests is for 2 affidavits by family or friends in Pakistan. Does anyone know who can certify or attest these in Pakistan, specifically Karachi? I don't think it is the same as the requirements for the Statutory Declaration Form 888 as its a health professional or Justice of Peace here in Australia. Thanks in advance.
