I had submitted my police clearence of Pakistan when I applied for 309. Do i again need to submit?
Please reply if anyone know about it?

if you were on 309 and baby is born in Australia then you need to follow the process for Aussie passport for her.
I am asking about should I have inform through form 1022 to dept? I know about that passport process but it has a clause in Visa that you have to inform about change in circumstances

Hello everyone little help requires...
I am in Australia on 309 visa.
I am about to submit form 929 to inform changes about address and details.
I came across to a question asking about WHICH OFFICE WAS THE APPLICATION LODGES?
I applied through a migration lawyer fron Syd. So should i have to write isl embassy?
Any answer would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance -
Yeah but i just wanted to know if its mandatory or its fine because transactions are between me and my husband as well in my account.Ok that is good you can open another account with your partner as well.
Thanks
-
I am not sure about work but i have already opened my own account here.Dont quote me wrong but that should be fine as long as it is a Joint account and income coming in. But i am guessing you will be work in the future ?
-
But i dont have the same immi account because i did my case with the consultant. So what to do now?
-
Great. i also wanted to when i am eligible to apply for sub class 100? Two years after The date i got visa or the date when i applied? As i did my case with lawyer and now i am not in contact with him. So i have to fill the form 929 for changes to inform to dept. So they would give me the invitation or i have to send the documents. Its fine. It is not mandatory to have a joint account, though its a good idea as it shows commitment to each other - even if it is hardly ever used. -
Hello sheldonpk i wanted to ask if its mandatory to have joint bank account here in AU? As i am on 309 right now. If i have my own account and my husband transfers in it so is it fine?Hi Asim,
It is good to start planning well in advance and to get all the documents as per the requirements.
As per your questions I could answer them but i could be wrong. It is better to get a professional advise as i am new to the forum but have been following other forums from since few years .
1) applicant got her 309 visa with help of an immigration agent. He got the immi account through which she got her visa. Now, if we decide to apply the subclass 100, can we do it ourself? Do we need to create a new immi account or it will go through the same immi account??
If you are applying by yourself you will need to create a new immi account as the agent will not provide you the details unless you know the person personally. I am not sure if once you create a new account and write to immigration to request the previous application to appear on your current account.
2) we submitted Form 888 with our sublcass 309 application, will it be used for subclass 100 too? What if we want to use different Form 888 for next stage?
I've read in other forums that The form 888 validity is for 6 weeks only applies for specific circumstances - at least that is how I interpreted the info in the Partner Migration booklet.
3) we had a joint bank account for 309 visa, she is here in Australia now, do we need to have a joint account here too? Also having her on a rental lease as a partner helps? Sharing bills under her name?
Yes you will need to have a joint account here in Australia as well, plus adding her on lease, bills etc. Don't forget to add her on your Emergency contact at your workplace .

Hello everyone. I want to inquire about bank account if anyone could help.
I am in AU on 309 partner visa. As I want to open my bank account this could be needed for my Medicare card. As I am living here as a housewife. What would be the best option for bank account for me? Current, saving or what?
Kindly help.
Thanks
Kind regards. -
When your visa is granted, your consultant is out of the picture. Then you can check your visa status and update details yourself using “Visa Entitlement Verification Online (Vevo).
You will need your Visa grant number, passport number and date of birth to login. And once your logged in, you can update your details.
Visit this page, it will explain you better,
https://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Visa/VEVO/how-to-view-your-visa-status-and-entitlements
Hope this helps,
Thanks a lot -
You will get a Visa grant letter, with a grant number that you can check online on VeVo. You can update your details using your passport number, grant number and your date of birth anytime you like. Or you can submit a form for change of details (can be located on immi’s webpage). Or if you are at good terms with your consultant then you can ask him/her to update as well. But when its your time to apply subclass 100, they send a letter of invitation to apply for the visa as well as an email to the applicant and your former/current (if you still want him/her to act on your behalf) consultant.
I am sorry its bit confusing here. I wanted to ask where can i update my details? Because the consultant forward application from his immi account. So i do not have access of my application. Kindly let me clear if i am mistaking anything -
From the date of entry on 309, you will receive a reminder in two years to apply for 100. And no, you dont need to apply through solicitor. You can apply your 100 yourself. Even if you want to do it again through solicitor they will charge you their consultancy fee again.
Make sure to keep updating your contact details on immi account if you move houses or change email addresses,
Thanks asim but immi account was of solicitor. How could i do this updates and all? -
And if application for 309 was done with solicitor, so should i have to apply again through solicitor or i can apply by myself. And if i can apply myself than should i have to make a new immi account? as last one was of solicitor...
Kind regards. -
Hello everyone, is there anyone who has applied for sub class 100 after 309?
If yes than what are the requirements? Documents needed to be attached? And after how much time you have applied for sub class 100 after 309?
Many thanks. -
Hello everyone!
By the grace of Allah, I have got my visa today.
I had applied on 24 January 2017, medical was done in January as well.,
I got an interview call last week and they asked question about what we have written in our application, they asked for poilo certificate to be uploaded.
It took 9 months to get my visa.
I pray for all who are waiting for their visa to be approved.
Thanks you everyone here for the support and for making my this journey to be more patient.
Kind regards.

Thankyou [emoji4]
Questions were just about my relationship, our marriage dates, number of guest attended our wedding, our future plans about my husbands profession all questions were related to what I have written in my declaration form.
My Case Officer was an angel seriously. All depends on the CO or on your interview.
im from Pakistan, Karachi.
And my husband applied via consultant from Sydney.
Note: Do email continuously it works a lot, try to make them feel you are desperate and want visa as soon as possible.
I pray all of you get your visas soon as I know it's a painful process!!!
Thank you
Can you please make it more clear that whom should have to email? Me or my consultant? Or If i should have to email than which email address?
Kind regards.

I was a silent reader and read this forum in the past couple of months. My husband just got granted his visa on 22 August 2017 [emoji33][emoji1]
Our application was lodged online from sydney.
DOL: 23 December 2016- with completed police check and polio certificate.
Medical completed and lodged: 31 December 2016
Date of interview: 21 August 2017
309 visa granted: 22 August 2017
Entry date: Before 29 October 2017
The total process just took less than 8 months. It was surprising that it got granted quickly seeing that the timelines were over 12 months on the immi website.
Also very surprising was that the grant happened straight after the interview. We never knew the case officer until the interview when I got the call. I was only interviewed not my husband.
Good Luck everyone. In sha Allah your visas will be granted soon.
Hey dear! Congratulations
Can you please share what questions did they ask when you got the call? Also did you apply through a lawyer or by yourself?
Thanks in advance

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP TIMELINES 2020-2021
in Citizenship
Posted
Hello everyone ,
I have 2 questions regarding my citizenship application if anyone can help.
1. I have added my newborn in children section of the application. I have applied for the birth certificate though but i haven’t applied for citizenship certificate yet. Baby is not the citizen of any county in papers ( no proof) . Should I apply and wait for his citizenship certificate first and then apply for my citizenship application or should I declare the child as Australian citizen as being the child of PR/citizen parent or just leave blank those info?
2. Filling in information for my parents, as one of my parent has passed away long time ago. There is no option to put his info as “deceased” however there is about his citizenship status as how did he acquired his citizenship overseas? And I choose “by birth” So should I choose the next option of ‘how/when did it ended’ as his date of passing or just leave it blank?
thanks a million in advance
