Thanks Russel. Also, should I wait for the grant or ask DIBP to put my application on hold until childbirth?

I am on 457 Visa and applied for 189 Visa 3 months ago and waiting for the grant. My wife is pregnant and expecting the baby by the end of July. What would be the status of the baby if the baby is born before we get the grant? Is there anything I should update to DIBP before hand? Please let me know.
