Fly QANTAS only if you want to spend the rest of your trip looking for your baggage. I fly Singapore Airlines and they've been pretty good, usually the second cheapest option. Cheaper still if you can get last minute flights and wing the rest of your trip. I don't bother with other airlines now as I do the Heathrow to Adelaide flight regularly and Emerates etc are out of my budget. Good luck.
