  1. Wow congratulations Murtza!! Zain, any update from ur side or did u made any call to the AHC?
  2. Hi Zain No update as of now and they have not asked me for new medical or police check yet. Infact my lawyer told me that dept will not ask for a new one so no need to resubmit. Anyways lets see what happens. Let's hope to hear some grant news during this month.
  3. Yes Murtza may be you are right. Have google It and found form 929 Is more appropriate for updating address change. Thanks for correcting me.
  4. Hi Zain No news from my side. Made a call yesterday to AHC-ISLAMABAD, that lady was so dumb without asking me the file no., she just asked me the date of lodgement and then replied that the processing time is 12 to 15 months. Anyways have applied for a family sponsored visa for my husband on 30th of April, still waiting for the decision. Lets see what happens. You can look over the spreadsheet to find who all are still waiting for the 309 visa decision.
  5. Hi Ghaffarahmed Please have a look over the link may be it will help you. http://forum.migrationhelp.com.au/showthread.php?t=2520&goto=nextnewest so according to this and as per my understanding as long as you were not related to your wife before you got married, you can safely answer "no" to this one or if you were related to your wife before marriage (I.e. you got married to your cousin) you can answer "yes".

  7. No update as of now. Lets wait and watch some grants may be in coming next 2 weeks. not having much hope as department will slow down their work because of financial year end. Anyways lets see what happens.
  8. Now they will start their process of granting visas from 20th so we also have to wait till then.
  9. No Zain because I know they will only provide us with the same reply, that ur application Is under process and the standard processing time Is 15 months. So I dont see any point In sending mail to them except to wait.
  10. Good to hear some positive and good news. @Zain you don't need to be worry at all, they know that people are waiting for their grant from a quiet long time and its natural to be a bit anxious and get aggressive, as long as you are truthful to them there's nothing more to worry about. anyways congratulations for the progress on your case. Hopefully your are very close for the grant to be made. You will soon (today or Insha'ALLAH next week) will definitely get your grant email.
  11. Thanks Ghaffarahmed. Insha'ALLAH we all hear our grant news soon. and I think you need to add your child details in your wife application as a dependent if your child born while your application still in process or if your child born after the grant then you will have to lodge another application which is offshore (Child Visa 101) or another option is to take your child on a tourist visa and then apply for an onshore child visa.
  12. My situation is more worst. I am an Indian citizen but holds an Australian PR and my husband is a Pakistani citizen. We cannot accompany each other in our own respective countries. And staying in india at the moment I can't sponsor my husband's visitor visa. also if he applies for his own visitor visa then might be it can get refuse because our case is in final stage. we are so helpless.
  13. Just now spoke to the lady in AHC, she said that the 15 month timeline is applied to every previous and current applicants and you are still under the time frame. seriously its pathetic. Now we have to wait for 3 more month's.
  14. Yes they told me that ur application is in final queue and there is no problem with ur case but the processing time has been changed to 14 months so u'll get a response within the time frame.
