my nomination has been approved on 8th march( 1 and half month ago),but they didn't even open my visa file yet, my medical has been expired (on dec 2016) on immi account it showing medical has been finalised and visa application can be continue , but my lawyer said when my file will be allocate to case officer he will generate new hap ID to attend new medical . I am just thinking when they will open file and ask for medical and also for my partner's (ielts fee) also how long they will take to finalised case after these documents request .

Don't worry my friend, you are not the worse. I and Kiran02 both nomination on 23th March (stilling waiting) and Visa on December. At least you know you are more than half way there, my be just one little step, but us, we are not even sure weather we can get approve on our nomination. Even then, we both have our nomination, we still need to wait another half year for our visa.

They probably change to 13 - 14 next month and 14 - 15 in the month after, who knows? And that is exactly what I am worry about.

I will say, more than 13 months. I apply on 23th March, and completing 13 months next week. By assuming they increase their processing time every months, and if they do, you are looking for one and half year.

However, it just my thought. They may change their police anytime.

Honestly man, you got to expect a long tern fight if you applying for ordinary occupation. Like retail manager, restaurant manager.

I dont think they will decrease their processing time and increase their work efficiency.

The reason why there are some September cases get approve is because their occupation.

My occupation is restaurant manager, and still stud on March, because there are too many of if out there. 

Any other thoughts?

I thought it need to change the processing time standard. Use 75% of application will process more than 11 months instead of within 11 months.

i just received my lawyer s email,he said although my nomination has been approved but my visa application lodged 7 weeks later so do not expect it to be allocated to case officer for another 1-2 month.and he will follow up with immigration when we across the standard processing time. Which will be 11May 2017.relly so frustrated On immi,before they were working according to nomination lodged date now they have different time if we do not lodge visa and nomination file to gather.

That's really bad, I and Kiran02 applied on March but Visa loge on December. Which means we are gonna to wait another 8 months at least, given that IMMI doesn't change their standard processing time.

as many MA tell me processing time is different for onshore and offshore application 

My employer is located at NSW but I am not sure which office will open my file. And I am on onshore, DE. I think IMMI take longer than what they put on the website. It doesn't went smooth for DE onshore during March.

Mine open as well, my employer receive IMMI's call a few week ago, and my MA uploading required doc this week. Hopefully we will hear from them soon

Thanks for updating me. That's terrible if they processing files according to visa application itself, which mean I need to wait until the end of this year. 

Kiran02 and me has the same situation, he applying nomination on 23th of march and visa on 16th December.

No, because I apply my visa on December. I can only call IMMI regarding to my VISA not my nomination. They said they can't discuss nomination with me. So frustrate.
