  1. What i am still looking forward is their update for Short term list on 1 July, I am a fashion designer, and hope my job will shift back to MTSSL. but... just a small wish.
  2. My nomination and visa application lodged on Mid of Feb, They requested for medical check First of April before policy changed, then no more feedback.... Over 4 months waiting, nothing approved yet. Dun know what happened in IMMI...
  3. Any one here is planning to leave this country due to the new policy? or any one here still waiting the result ?
  4. The most unfair part for the policy changed in 457 is the immi apply those new rule to all pending applications even they lodged before 18th April. Those applicants follow the old rule to apply 457, but come up as a result which they are not applying for..... Not make sense.
  5. Welcome to the waiting game. Can't leave country with bridging visa. more than 3 months already, nothings approved. FxxK!
  6. Nomination + Visa lodged on 14th Fed, request for medical check and insurance 11 April. Job had be shifted to 2 years list after 19 April. (Graphic Designer) Nothing updated until now. My final goal is PR, but the pathway have been blocked. still considering to leave or stay
  7. yes, i know. but the funny part is my MA lodge the 457 Visa application without health insurance. will my visa application get in trouble ?
  8. Hi all~ My MA lodged my Nomination + 457 Visa application on-shore at the same time on 14 Fed, i am now under bridging visa. & MA also advise me they will tell me to buy the health insurance in the right timing. But i found out that health insurance is one of a condition in 457 visa application. Is it sth wrong with my MA or is it really better to buy the insurance after nomination confirmed ? Cheers~
  9. Me too. not many HK people here. :twitcy: My MA lodged the nomination & visa application on 14th Fed..coz my 417 visa will expire at the end of Fed. i haven't done my health insurance yet, MA said they will tell my to buy one in the correct timing... don't know why. btw I just sent you a PM . let's make a friend:biglaugh:
  10. Mate, Are you form Hong Kong ? :twitcy::twitcy::twitcy:
  11. i would prefer FOI to get all the doc back, but it takes a month to process. But is it possible to lodge nomination + Visa application during the FOI process time? My MA suggest me to lodge the FOI asap to secure my timing. would Foi affect anythings?
  12. "I assume what you're saying is that the MA wants to ensure the company information from your nomination will be consistent with the company information from the earlier nomination? That's always good to make sure but wouldn't it be easier to ask the employer to provide that information?" Yes , that's what MA means. The difficult part is, my company do not have any copy of that submission.
  13. Hi mate. I got a hard decision on choosing Agent to lodge my 457. My employer already sponsored a financial manager with 457 for two years, but hasn't change to 186 yet, that means this manager is still working under 457 visa now. I am a Graphic Designer with 417, this employer agreed to offer me a 457. My M.Agent said we need a FOI to request all the information for the first 457 nomination that submitted to Gov, and make sure my nomination info would match this time. is that true? is it 100% safe for FOI ? Or should i better use the same M.Agent as that financial manager used before? ( but this agent is so slow..) coz my 417 will expiry on Fed, i need to lodge nomination + visa application at same time. Ps* That company is a fashion business company with 20 staffs, never had a Graphic Designer before, Financial power is good. but is it hard to sponsor two 457 at the same time? Thanks all
  14. my bad. PS: The company already "sponsored" 1 staff under 457, but with different job title.

  16. Hi all~ My 417 WH visa will expire on Fed. The company finally decided to offer me a 457, but usually the nomination approval will take 3~4 months... and that means my 417 WH visa will expire before the nomination approval result. It is possible to lodge the nomination application + Visa application at the same time? and i can get the bridge Visa to help me to stay and wait for the 457 result. PS: The company already nominating 1 staff, but with different job title. Thanks all.
