I supplied requested docs 31/7 and still waiting seems like if further docs requested it goes back in a queue and currently it can take another 2 months to be looked at.

still waiting for my visa(low risk county) is that normal?

and they haven't call my previous overseas employers yet to check my references letters

Additional information requested will take you another 28 working days. Original visa application date now is 50 working days.

 

In total you will be expecting 78 working days. Which is 15 weeks from the date your visa lodged.

 

50&28 working days were based on auto reply official email. From my experience, it's pretty accurate.

28 working days from the time they request the information or from the time you provide the extra information?

The auto reply email was too long to copy and paste with very detailed explanations in it. Suggest you might want to send an email and receive the auto reply to read.

I'm so stressed my wife applied for 457(onshore) the 16th of June

and they requested further documents ( marriage certificate,birth certificates for the kids) 11th August,we provided everything the 24th,and I'm going overseas 26 of September for family reasons.

the thing is I'm running out of timing

I'm currently considering applying for a bridging visa B so I can leave the country whilst my 457 application is pending.

My question is what would happen if my 457 visa application is declined whilst I am out of Australia? would I still be able to return to Australia?

Just got auto reply from 457 regarding current processing time.

 

Initial allocation -50 working days (10 weeks), means case will be assigned and assessed.

 

If further documents requested will take another 28 working days or more.

For further information 28 days after you provide the further information?? or from the time They request the further information ??

My visa application was applied in 1st week of May 2016. Still It's showing that in process. My employer said that police verification is also done. Generally it'll take 2 months. But why now it's happening like this. Kindly reply for this

My 457 application was submitted by an Agent. If I import my application to my IMMI account, does system stop sending queries to my agent....? I dont want to disturb agent's work. I just want to know the status without bothering to the agent. Please advise.
